STOCK EXCHANGE DIVISION
New Delhi , the 7th December 1972
S.O. 740 ( E ) .- The Central Government . having considered the application for renewal of recognition made under section 3 of the Securities Contracts ( Regula- tion ) Act , 1956 ( 42 of 1956 ) readread with rule 7 of the Securities Contracts (Regula- tion ) Rules , 1957 , by the Delhi Stock Exchange Association Limited , Delhi ( herein- after referred to as the Exchange ) , and being satisfied thatit would be in the interest of the trade and also in the public interest so to do , hereby grants , in exercise of the powers conferred by section + of the said Act . recognition to the Exchange , under section 4 of the said Act , for a further period of five years com- mencing on the 9th December , 1972 and ending with the 8th December , 1977, in respect of contracts in securities . subject to the conditions stated herein below and such other conditions as may be prescribed or imposed hereafter :
Conditions
( 1 ) The articles of association of the Exchange shall be suitably amended to give effect to the following , namely
( a) the President and Vice - President of the Exchange shall be nominated by the Central Government from among those elected as members of the Board of Directors of the Exchange through the normal process the articles of association of the Exchange

(b) the power of the Board of Directors to constitute committees , sub - com- mittees and standing committees shall be restricted to Arbitration Committee and Defaulters Committee and that any other committee , sub- committee or standing committee may be constituted by the Board of Directors only with the previous approval of the Central Government ;
( c) the Executive Director shall have exclusive powers in matters which concern disciplining of trading and the members ' activities including enforcement of articles of association , bye - laws and regulations of the Exchange in such matters ; and
(d) the membership / security deposit shall , on and from the 9th December , 1972 , be ten thousand rupees each , provided that such of the persons as have been admitted to the membership of the Exchange prior to that date on a deposit of five thousand rupees ,ees , shall pay the balance within a period of one year from that date .
( 2 ) The articles of association of the Exchange shall be amended for the pur- poses aforesaid as early as possiblepossible but in no case later than a period of one year from the 9th December . 1972 .

फा० प्रा० 740 ( प्र ) -केन्द्रीय सरकार , प्रतिभूति संविदा ( विनियमन) नियमावली, 1957 के नियम 7 के साथ पठित , प्रतिभूति संबिदा ( विनियमन ) अधिनियम, 1956 ( 1956 का 42 वां ) की धारा 3 के अन्तर्गत दिल्ली स्टाक एक्स्वज एसोसिएशन लिमिटेड , दिल्ली (जिगे बाद में एक्चेंज कहा गमा है ) द्वारा मान्यता के नवीकरण के लिए दिए गए श्रवदन -पत्ल पर विचार करने भौर इस बात की तसल्ली कर लेने के बाद कि एसा करना व्यापार तथा लोक हित में होगा, एतद्वारा उक्त अधिनियम की धारा 4 के अन्तर्गत प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, उक्त अधिनियम की धारा 4 के अन्तर्गत एक्चेंज को 9 दिसम्बर , 1972 से शुरू होने वाली और 8 दिसम्बर, 1977 को स्माप्त होने वाली पांच वर्ष की अग्रेतर अवधि के बिए , प्रतिभूतियों के संविदाओं के सम्बन्ध में नीचे दी गई शतौं मौर एतदू पश्चात् निर्धारित की जाने वाली अथवा लगाई जाने वाली शर्तों के साथ मान्यता प्रदान करती है :
( 1 ) एक्चेंज को अन्तनियमावली को समुचित रुप से संशोधित किया आयेगा ताकि मिस्न- लिखित को कार्यरूप दिया जा सके, अर्थात् :---
( क ) एक्चेंज के अध्यक्ष और उपाध्यक्ष को केन्द्रीय सरकार द्वारा , एक्वज की मन्तनियमा वली की सामान्य प्रक्रिया द्वारा चुने गये एस्चेंज के निदेशक मंडल के सदस्यों में ने नामजद किया जायेगा ;
(ख) समितियां , उपसमितियां और स्थायी समितियां गठित करने की एक्सचेंज के निदेशकः मण्डल की शक्ति मध्यस्थता समिति और बाकीदार समिति तक सीमित होगी श्रऔर निदेशक मंडल द्वारा किसी अन्य समिति, उप्र समितिः अभवा स्थायी समिति का गठन केन्द्रीय सरकार के पूर्वानुमोदन से ही किया जाएगा , और THE GAZETTE OF INDIA EXTRAORDINARY

(ग) कार्यकारी निदेशक को उन मामलों में , जिनका सम्बन्ध व्यापार को अनुशामित करने और सदस्यों की गतिविधियों से हो, जिनमें इन मामलों में एक्सचेंज की अन्न- नियमावली, उप-नियमों और विनियमों का लाए किया जाना शामिल है . श्रनन्य गक्तियां प्राप्त होगी ।
( घ) 9 दिसम्बर, 1972 को और उस तारीख में मदस्यता प्रतिभूति के लिए जमा की राशि दस हजार रुपये कर दी जायेगी , लेकिन जो व्यक्ति उस तारीख से पहले पांच हजार म्पया जमा करने पर एक्सचेंज के सदस्य बना लिये गये ही. व बाकी रकम उस नारीख में एक वर्ष तक की अवधि के अन्दर अदा करेंगे ।
( 2 ) उपर्युक्त प्रयोजनों के लिए एक्सन की नियमवली में यथासम्भव मीराशेध कर दिये जाएंने जो हर हालत में दिगम्बर 1973 में लेवर एक वर्ष तक की अवधि के अन्दर अन्दर कर दिए जाएंगे ।
