G.S.R. 484(E),—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (1) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944. the Central Government hereby makes the following amendment to the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue and Insurance) No. 164/72-C.E., dated the 10th July, 1972, namely:—

In the said notification, the words "and intended for making sacks", shall be omitted,
