New Delhi , the 20th December 1972
S.O. 753 ( E ) . Whereas a vacancy has occurred in the House of the People by reason of the death of Shri M. Muhammad Ismail , a member electedto that House from 5 - Manjeri Parliamentary Constituency in the State of Kerala .
Now, therefore , in pursuance of the provisions of sub - section ( 1 ) of section 149 of the Representation of the People Act , 1951 ( 43 of 1951 ) , the Election Com- mission hereby calls upon the said constituency to elect before the 27th January , 1973 in accordance with the provisions of the said Act and of the Rules and Orders made thereunder , a person to fill the said vacancy.

अतः , अब , लोक प्रतिनिधित्व अधिनियम, 1951 ( 1951 का 43 ) की धारा 149 की उपधारा ( 1 ) के उपबन्धों के अनुमरण में निर्वाचन आयोग उक्त निर्वाचन क्षेत्र से एतद्वारा अपेक्षा करता है कि वे ऐसे हुई रिषत को भरने के लिए 20 जनवरी , 1973 से पूर्व, उक्त अधिनियम , के और तद्धीन बनाए गए नियमों और आदेशों के उपबन्धों के अनुसार एक व्यक्ति निर्वाचित कर दें ।

S.O. 754 (E ) . In pursuance of section 30 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951 (43 of 1951 ) , the Election Commission hereby appoints , with respect to the bye - election to be held in 5 - Manjeri parliamentary constituency in the State of Kerala in pursuance of its notification No. 100/KL - HP / 1 / 72 ( 1 ) , dated the 20th December, 1972.
(a) the 27th December , 1972 ( Wednesday ) as the last date for making nominations :
(b ) the 28th December, 1972 ( Thursday ) as the date for the scrutiny of nominations;
( c) the 30th December, 1972 ( Saturday ) as the last date for the withdrawal of candidatures ;
(d) the 22nd January, 1973 ( Monday ) as the date on which a poll shall, if necessary , be taken ; and
(e) the 27th January , 1973 ( Saturday ) as the date before which the elec- tion shall be completed .

27 दिसम्बर , 1972 ( बुधवार) (क ) नामनिर्देशन करने के लिए अन्तिम तारीख
28 दिसम्बर , 1972 ( बृहस्पतिवार) (ख ) नामनिर्देशनों की संवीक्षा की तारीख

(ग ) अभ्ययिता वापस लेने की अन्तिम तारीख
22 जनवरी , 1973 ( सोमवार ) ; तथा (घ ) वह तारीख जिसको यदि आवश्यक हो, तो मतदान होगा
27 जनवरी, 1973 (शनिवार) (ङ) वह तारीख जिसके पूर्व निर्वाचन समाप्त कर दिया जाएगा
तद्वारा नियत करता है ।

S.O. 755 ( E ) -In pursuance of section 56 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951 (43 of 1951 ) , the Election Commission hereby fixes the hours from 7.00 Α.Μ. to 5.00 P.M. as the hours during which a poll shall, if necessary, be taken for the bye - election to the House of the People from 5 - Manjeri parliamentary constituency, to be held in pursuance of its notification No. 100 /KL - HP / 1 /72 (1 ) , dated the 20th December , 1972 .

एस ० प्रो ० 755 ( प्र) लोक प्रतिनिधित्व अधिनियम , 1951 ( 1951 का 43) की धारा 56 के अनुसरण में निर्वाचन आयोग अपनी अधिसूचना संख्या 100 /केरल-ली ० स ०/ 1 / 72 ( 1 ) ' तारीख 20 दिसम्बर , 1972 के अनुसरण में 5 मंजरी संसदीय निर्वाचन क्षेत्र से लोक सभा के लिए होने वाले उप- निर्वावन के लिए 7 बजे पूर्वी से 5 बजे अपराह्न तक का समय उस समय के रूप में एतद्वारा नियत करता है जिसके दौरान यदि आवश्यक हो तो, मतदान होगा ।
