SUBJECT Trade with Bangladesh during the period from 28th March, 1972 to
21th March, 1973.
No. 190-ITC(PN)/72.— Attention is invited to the Ministry of Foreign Trade Public Notice No. 180-ITC(PN)/72, dated the 8th December, 1972, regarding trade with Bangladesh outside the Limited Payments Arrangement.
2. It has been provided in paragraph 2 of the aforesaid Public Notice that exports of Textiles (Handloom) from India to Bangladesh outside the Limited Payments Arrangement will be allowed, subject to the normal policies and procedures, only through the Handicrafts and Handloom Export Corporation On a review of the position, it has been decided that the exports of Textiles (Handloom) to Bangla- desh outside the Limited Payments Arrangement will he allowed only through the Handloom Export Promotion Council, and not through the Handicrafts and Handloom Export Corporation.
3. The Ministry of Foreign Trade Public Notice No. 180-ITC(PN)/72 dated the 8th December, 1972 may be deemed to have been amended accordingly.
