ORDER
New Delhi, the 20th December 1972
S.O. 773 (E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-clause (ii) of clause (b) of sub-section (1) of section 80 of the Gold (Control) Act, 1908 (45 of 1968), the Central Government hereby directs that where in relation to any gold, proceedings for adjudication of confiscation or for imposition of penalty are initiated under the said Act as well as under the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), an appeal under clause (b) of sub-section (1) of section 30 of the Gold (Control) Act, 1968 (45 of 1968) shall lie to the Appellate Collector of Customs;
