New Delhi, the 30th December 1972
S.O. 776 (E),—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Com- missions of Inquiry Act, 1952 (60 of 1952), the Central Government hereby extends upto 31st March, 1973, the period within which the Commission of Inquiry appointed by the Government of India in the Ministry of Home Affairs by notification No. S.O. 583 (E) published at pages 1553 and 1554 of Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii) of the Gazette of India Extraordinary, dated the 24th August, 1972, shall make its report to the Central Government.
