New Delhi , the 1st January 1973
2 ( E ) .- In exercise of the powers conferred by section 39 of the Gene- ral insurance Business ( Nationalisation ) Act , 1972 ( 57 of 1972 ) , the Central Garment hereby makes the following rules , namely : ---
ra st title and commencement .- ( 1 ) These rules may be called the Gene- ce Business ( Functions of Certain Acquiring Companies ) Rules , 1973 el come into force on the 1st of January , 1973
2 of certain acquiring companies. On and from the commence- ment of these rules , the acquiring companies mentioned in the Schedule annexed to these rules shall carry on general insurance business only to the extent to which it is necessary to allow the policies of insurance issued by them and an force immediately before such commencement to run off and such companies shall not issue any new policy of insurance after such commencement

नई दिल्ली, 1 जनवरी , 1973
मा ० का ० नि ० 2 ( अ ) विविध बीमा कारबार ( राष्ट्रीयकरण ) अधिनियम , 1972 ( 1972 का 57 ) की धारा 39 द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियो का प्रयोग करते हुये, केन्द्रीय सरकार एतदद्रारा निम्नलिखित नियम बनाती है, अर्थात्:--
1. सक्षिप्त नाम और प्रारम्भ (कतिपय अर्जक कम्पनियों के कृत्य ) नियम , 1973 हैं । ( 1 ) इन नियमों का नाम विविध बीमा कारबार
( 2) ये नियम 1 जनवरी , 1973 को प्रवत्त होंगे ।
2. कतिपय अर्जक कम्पनियो के कृत्य इन नियमो के प्रारम्भ होने पर , इन नियकों से उपाबद्ध अनुसूची में वर्णित अर्जक कम्पनियों विविध बीमा कारवार केवल उस सीमा तक चलायेंगी जिस तक उनके द्वारा जारी की गई और ऐसे प्रारम्भ के ठीकः पूर्व प्रवत्त बीमा पालिसियों को लान की अनुज्ञा देना आवश्यक हो और ऐसी कम्पनियां ऐसे प्रारम्भ के पाश्चात् कोई नयी बीमा पालिसी जारी नहीं करेंगी ।
