New Delhi, the 1st January 1973

S.O .t(E). Inexeretirciseof the Powers conferred by sab-section (2) of section 4 of the General Insurance Business (Nationalisation) Act, 1972 (N). 57 of 1972, the Central Government hereby notifies that the shares of the Indian Insurance companies specified under column (2) of the Schedule which stand transferred and vested in the Central Government under sub-section (1) of section 4 of the said Act and specified in column (3) of the Schedule, shall forthwith stand transferred to and Vested in the corresponding persons specified under column (4) of the Schedule.
