New Delhi , the 3rd January 1973
S.O. 11 ( E ) .- Whereas the Governntent of the State of Tamil Nadu have intimated certain alterations in the names and the boundaries of the territo- rial divisions comprised within the 134 - Usilampatti assembly constituency mentioned in Part B in Schedule IX to the Delimitation of Parliamentary and Assembly Constituencies Order , 1966 and specified below: --
And whereas the Election Commission considers it necessary to make am- endment in the description of the constituency so as to bring the order up to- date;
Now , therefore , in exercise of the powers conferred by clause ( b ) of sub- section ( 1 ) of section 9 of the Representation of the People Act, 1950, the Elec- tion Commission hereby makes the amendment in the said Order as follows:
In Part B-Assembly Constituencies-
in 134 - Usilampatti, in the description of the extent of constituency, for the existing entry substitute the entry- "Usilampatti and Chellempatti unions and portion of Mannadimangalam Reserved Forest in Usilampatti taluk "
