NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 17th January 1973
S.O. 24(E).—The Central Government having considered in consultation with the Forward Markets Commission, the application for renewal of recognition made under Section 5 of the Forward Contracts (Regulation) Act, 1952, (74 of 1952) by the Pepper and Cong, Merchants' Association Ltd, Bombay, and being satisfied that it would be in the interest of the trade and also in the public interest so to do, hereby grants, in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 6 of the said Act, recognition to the said Association for a further period of one year ending the 18th January, 1974 in respect of forward contracts in pepper within the limits of Greater Bombay as defined in the Bombay General Clauses Act, 1904 (Bombay Act I of 1904), as in force in the State of Maharashtra.
