G.S.R. 15 ( E ) .- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - rule ( 1 ) of rule 3 of the Central Excise Rules , 1944 , read with sub - section ( 3 ) of section 3 of the. Addi- tional Duties of Excise ( Goods of Special Importance ) Act, 1957 ( 58 of 1957 ) , the Central Government herchy makes the following further amendments in the noti- fication of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance ( Department of Revenue and Insurance ) No. 91/ 69 - Cenntral Excises , dated the 1st March , 1969 , namely :

In the said notification ,-

(1) in the Table annexed there to , for the entry in column ( 3 ) against serial number 9 , the following entry shall be substituted namely :-

"' Rags ' , that is to say .一

(a) bona fide cut - picces of cotton fabries of length more than 23 centimetres but less than 45 centimetres where the width of the fabric is 1 metre or more , and of length more than 23 centimetres but less than 65 centimetres where the width of the fabric is less than 1 metre , aris- ing during the normal course of manufacturing ( including process- ing) or packing or drawing samples ; and

(b ) cut - picces of damaged or sub - standard cotton fabrics of length more than 23 contimetres but less than 45 centimetres where the width of

the fabric is 1 metre or more , and of length more than 23 centimetres but less than 65 centimetres where the width of the fabric is less than 1 metre" ;

( 2) for Explanation 1 , the following Explanation shall be substituted ; namely :-

"Explanation 1. For the purposes of this notification , " Fents " , means-

(a) bona fide cut - pieces of cotton fabrics ( excluding cut- pieces of towels ) of length 45 centimetres or more but not exceeding 90 centimetres where the width of the fabric is one metre or more , and of length 65 centi- metres or more but not exceeding 135 centimetres where the width of the fabric is less than one metre , arising during the normal course of manufacturing ( including processing ) or packing Or drawing samples;

(b ) damaged cotton fabrics ( excluding damaged towels ) of length 45 centi- metres or more but not exceeding 90 centimetres where the width of the fabric is one metre or more , and of length 65 centimetres or more but not exceeding 135 centimetres where the width of the fabric is less than one metre ; and

(c) cut -pieces of length 45 centimetres or more but not exceeding 90 centi- metres 'where the width of the fabric is one metre or more, and of length 65 centimetres or more but not exceeding 135 centimetres where the width of the fabric is less than one metre , cut from damaged dhoties or sarees . " ;

(3 ) in Explanation 2 , for the words and figures " numbers 1 and 9 , " the word and figure "number 1 " shall be substituted .

2. This notification shall come into force on the 15th day of February , 1973 .

सा० का ० नि० 15 ( श्र ) -प्रतिरिक्त उत्पाद शुल्क ( विशेष महत्व का माल ) अधिनियम, 1957 ( 1957 का 58 ) की धारा 3 की अधारा ( 3 ) के साथ पठित , केन्द्रीय उत्पाद शुल्क नियम, 1944 के नियम 8 के उपनियम ( 1 ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियो का प्रयोग करते हुए , केन्द्रीय सरकार , भारत सरकार के वित्त मंत्रालय ( राजस्व और बीमा विभाग ) की अधिसूचना स ० 91 / 69 -केन्द्रीय उत्पाद - शुल्क, तारीख 1 मार्च, 1939 मे एत‌द्धारा निम्नलिखित और संशोधन करली है, अर्थात्:--

उक्त अधिसूचना मे, --

( 1 ) उससे उपाबद्ध मारणी में , ऋप सख्या 9 के सामने के स्तम्भ ( 3 ) में की प्रविष्टि के स्थान पर, निम्नलिखित प्रविष्टि रखी जायेगी , अर्थात्: ----

'चिथड़े' अर्थात्,-

(क ) विनिर्माण ( जिनमें प्रसंस्करण भी सम्मिलित है ) या पैक करने या नमूने लेने के प्रसामान्य अनुक्रम के दौरान निकले कपाम के तन्तुकृतों के वस्तुतः कटे टुकड़े, जो, जहा तन्तुकृन की चौड़ाई एक मीटर या उससे अधिक हो वहां , 23 सेंटीमीटर से SEC . 3 ( 1 ) )

अधिक किन्तु 45 सेंटीमीटर से कम लम्बे हों और जहां तन्तुकृत की चौड़ाई एक मीटर से कम हो वहां , 23 सेंटीमीटर से अधिक किन्तु 65 सेंटीमीटर से कम लम्बे हों, और

(ख ) क्षत या निम्नस्तर कपास के तन्तुक्कृतों के कटे टुकड़े जो , जहां तन्तुकृत की चौड़ाई एक मीटप या उमसे अधिक हो वहां , 23 सेंटीमीटर से अधिक किन्तु 45 सेंटीमीटर से कम लम्बे हों और जहां तन्तुकृत की चौड़ाई एक मीटर से कम हो वहां , 23 सेंटीमीटर से अधिक किन्तु 65 सेंटीमीटर से कम लम्बे हों; "

( 2 ) स्पष्टीकरण 1 के स्थान पर, निम्नलिखित स्पष्टीकरण रखा जायेगा, अर्थात्-

स्पष्टीकरण 1.--इस अधिसूचना के प्रयोजनों के लिए, " टुकड़ों' से निम्नलिखित अभिप्रेत है--

( क ) विनिर्माण ( जिसमें प्रसंस्करण भी सम्मिलित है ) या पैक करने या नमूने लेने के प्रसामान्य अनुक्रम के दौरान निकले कपास के तन्तुकृतों के वस्तुतः कटे टुकड़े (जिनके अन्तर्गत तौलियों के कटे टुकड़े नहीं आते ) , जो, जहां तन्तुकृत की चौड़ाई एक मीटर या उससे अधिक हो वहां, 45 सेंटीमीटर या उससे अधिक किन्तु 90 सेंटीमीटर से अनधिक लम्बे हों और जहां तन्तुकृत की चौड़ाई एक मीटर से कम हो वहां, 65 सेंटीमीटर या उससे अधिक किन्तु 135 सेटीमीटर अनधिक लम्बेहों;

( ख ) क्षत कपास के तन्तुकृत ( जिनके अन्तर्गत क्षत तौलियां नहीं आतीं ) , जो, जहां तन्तुकृत की चौड़ाई एक मीटर या उमसे अधिक हो वहां , 45 सेंटीमीटर या उससे अधिक किन्तु 90 सेंटीमीटर से अनधिक लम्बे हों और जहां तन्तुकृत की चौड़ाई एक मीटर से कम हो वहां, 65 सेंटीमीटर या उससे श्रधिक किन्तु 135 सेंटीमीटर से अनधिक लम्बे हों; और

( ग) क्षत धोतियों या साड़ियों के कटे टुकड़े, जो, जहां तन्तुकृत की चौड़ाई एक मीटर या उसमे अधिक हो वहां, 45 सेंटीमीटर या उससे अधिक किन्तु 90 सेंटीमीटर से अनधिक लम्बे हों और जहां तन्तुकृत की चौड़ाई एक मीटर से कम हो बहां, 65 सेंटीमीटर या उससे अधिक किन्तु 135 सेंटीमीटर से अनधिक लम्बे हों ।" ।

( 3) स्पष्टीकरण 2 में, " संख्या 1 और 9 " शब्दों और अंकों के स्थान पर , संख्या " 1 " शब्द और अंक रखे जायेंगे ।

2. यह अधिसूचना 1973 की फरवरी के 15 वें दिन प्रवृत्त होगी ।

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - rule ( 1 ) of rule & of the Central Excise Rules , 1944, the Central Government hereby directs that the notifications of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance ( Department of Revenue and Insurance ) specified in column ( 2 ) of the Table hereto annexed shall be amended in the manner specified in column ( 3 ) of the said Table , 36

2. This notnication shall come into force on the 15th day of February , 1973 .

सा ० क१० नि ० 16 ( अ) केन्द्रीय उत्पाद शुल्क नियम , 1944 के नियम 8 के उपनियम ( 1 ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए , केन्द्रीय सरकार एतद्वारा निदेश देती है कि इसमे उपाबद्ध सारणी के स्तम्भ ( 2 ) में विनिर्दिष्ट भारत सरकार के वित्त मंत्रालय ( राजस्व और बीमा विभाग) की अधिसूचनाएं उक्त मारणी के स्तम्भ ( 3 ) मे विनिर्दिष्ट रीति से संशोधित की जायेगी ।

"म्पष्टीकरण.--इस धिसूचना के प्रयोजनों के लिए , " टुकड़ों' से निम्नलिखित अभिप्रेत है

G.S.R. 17 ( E ) .-In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - rule (1 ) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules , 1944 , read with sub - section ( 3 ) of section 3 of the Addi- tional Duties of Excise ( Goods of Special Importance ) Act , 1957 ( 58 of 1957 ) , the Central Government hereby makes the following amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance ( Department of Revenue and Insurrance ) No. 136/ 69 - Central Excises , dated the 8th May , 1969 , namely:

In the said notification , for the Explanation , the following Explanation shall be substituted , namely : -

"Explanation . सा० का० नि ० 17 ( श्र ) -अतिरिक्त उत्पाद शुल्क ( विशेष महत्व का माल ) अधिनियम, 1957 ( 1957 का 58 ) की धारा 3 की उपधारा ( 3 ) के साथ पठित , केन्द्रीय उत्पाद- शुरुक नियम, 1944 के नियम 8 के उपनियम ( 1 ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियो का प्रयोग करते हुये , केन्द्रीय सरकार , भारत सरकार के वित्त मन्त्रालय ( राजस्व और बीमा विभाग ) की अधिसूचना स ० 136 / 69-केन्द्रीय उत्पाद शुल्क , तारीख 8 मई , 1969 में एतद्वारा निम्नलिखित सशोधन करती है , अर्थात् --'

उक्त अधिसूचना मे , स्पष्टीकरण के स्थान पर, निम्नलिखित स्पष्टीकरण रखा जाएगा, अर्थात्

"स्पष्टीकरण- इस अधिसूचना के प्रयोजनो के लिये , "टुकडो " से निम्नलिखित अभिप्रेत

( क ) विनिर्माण ( जिसमें प्रसस्करण भी सम्मिलित है ) या पैक करने या नम्ने लेने के प्रसामान्य अनुक्रम के दौरान निकले कपास के तन्तुकृतो के वस्तुत कष्टटे टुकड़े (जिनके अन्तर्गत तौलियो के कटे टुकडे नहीं आते ) , जो, जहा तन्तुकृत की चौड़ाई एक मीटर या उससे अधिक हो वहां, 45 सेटीमीटर या उससे अधिक किन्तु 90 सेटी- मीटर से अनधिक लम्बे हो और जहा तन्तुकृत की चौडाई एक मीटर से कम हो वहां, 65 सेंटीमीटर या उससे अधिक किन्तु 135 सेटीमीटर से अनधिक लम्बे हो ,

( ग ) क्षत धोतियो या साडियो के कटे टुकडे , जो , जहा तन्तुक्कृत की चौड़ाई एक मौटर या उससे अधिक हो वहां , 45 सटीमीटर या उससे अधिक किन्तु 90 सेंटीमीटर से अनधिक लम्बे हो और जहां तन्तुकृत की चौडाई एक मीटर से कम हो वहां, 65 सेंटीमीटर या उससे अधिक किन्तु 135 सेटीमीटर से अनधिक लम्बे हो । " ।

2. यह अधिसूचना, 1973 की फरवरी के 15 वे विन प्रवृत्त होगी ।

G.6.R. 18 ( E ) . In exercise of the powers conferred by sub- rule ( 1 ) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules , 1944 , the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue and Insurance ) No. 70 / 69 - Central Excises , dated the 1st March , 1969 , namely

In the sald notification ,-

(1) for serial number ( v111 ) , the following shall be substituted , namely- " ( vlir ) " Rags " , that is to say ,

(a) bona fide cut-pieces of cotton fabrics of length more than 23 centimetres but less than 45 centimetres where the width of the fabric is 1 metre or more , and of length more than 23 centimetres but less than 65 centimetres where the width of the fabric is less than 1 metre , arising during the normal course of manufacturing ( including pro- eessing) or packing or drawing samples ; and THE GAZETTE OF INDIA EXTRAORDINARY

39 SEC . 3 ( 1 ) ]

(b ) cut-pieces of damaged or sub - standard cotton fabrics of length more than 23 centimetres but less than 45 centimetres where the width of the fabric is 1 metre or more and of length more than 23 centimetres but less than 65 centimetres where the width of the fabric is less than 1 metre" .

(2) The Explanation shall be omitted .

2 This notification shall come into force on the 15th day of February , 1973 .

सा० का ० नि० 18 ( प्र ) -केन्द्रीय उत्पाद शुल्क नियम , 1944 के नियम 8 के उपनियम ( 1 ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियो का प्रयोग करते हुये, केन्द्रीय सरकार , भारत सरकार के वित्त मत्त्रालय ( राजस्व और बीमा विभाग ) की अधिसूचना स ० 70 /69 -ने न्द्रीय उत्पाद शुल्क , तारीख 1 मार्च , 1969 मे एतद्वारा निम्नलिखित और सशोधन करती है , अर्थात्

( 1 ) क्रम सख्या ( Viii ) के स्थान पर, निम्नलिखित रखा जाएगा , अर्थात्

" ( iii ) "चिथडे " अर्थात्

(क) विनिर्माण ( जिसमें प्रसस्करण भी सम्मिलिति है ) या पैक करने या नमूने लेने के प्रसामान्य अनुक्रम के दौरान निकले कपास के तन्नुकृतो के बस्तुप्त कटे टुकडे , जो, जहा तन्तुक्कृत की चौडाई एक मीटर या उससे अधिक हो वहा , 23 सेटीमीटर से अधिक किन्तु 45 सेंटीमीटर से कम लम्बे हो और जहा तन्दुकृत की चौडाई एक मीटर से कम हो वहा , 23 सेटीमीटर से अधिक किन्तु 65 सेटीमीटर से कम लम्बे हो , और

(ख ) क्षत या निम्नतर कपास के तन्तुवृतो के कटे टुकडे जो, जहा तन्तुकृत की चौडाई एक मीटर या उससे अधिक हो वहा, 23 सेंटीमीटर से अधिक किन्तु 45 सेटी- मीटर से कम लम्बे हो और जहां तन्तुकृत की चौडाई एक मीटर से कम हो वहा , 23 सेंटीमीटर से अधिक किन्तु 65 सेंटीमीटर से कम लम्बे हो" ।

( 2 ) स्पष्टीकरण लुप्त कर दिया जायेगा ।

यह अधिसूचना , 1973 की फरवरी के 15वे दिन प्रवृत्त होगी ।

G.S.R. 19 ( E ) -In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - rule ( 1 ) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules , 1944 , the Central Government hereby makes the following amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Fin- ance (Department of Revenue and Insurance ) No 175/72 Central Excises , dated the 24th July , 1972 , namely

In the said notification, for item ( 11 ) of the Explanation the following item shall be substituted , namely

" ( 11 ) the expression " fents " means-

(a) bona fide cut -pieces of raven or artificial silk fabrics of length 45 centi- incires or more but not exceeding 90 centimetres where the width of the fabric is one metre or more , and of length 65 centimetres or more but not exceeding 135 centimetres where the width of the fabric is less than one metre , arising during the normal course of manufacturing ( including processing ) ог packing ог drawing samples , and THE GAZETTE OF INDIA EXTRAORDINARY

(b) damaged rayon or artificial silk fabrics of length 45 centimetres or more but not exceeding 90 centimetres where the width of the fabric is one metre or more , and of length 65 centimetres or more but not exceeding 135 centimetres where the width of the fabric is less than one metre "

2. This notification shall come into force on the 15th day of February 1973

के सा० का ० नि० 19 ( अ ) केन्द्रीय उत्पाद शुल्क नियम , 1944 के नियम 8 उपनियम ( 1 ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियो का प्रयोग करते हुये , केन्द्रीय सरकार , भारत सरकार के वित्त मन्त्रालय ( राजस्व और बीमा विभाग ) की अधिसूचना म ० 175 / 72- केन्द्रीय उत्पाद शुल्क , तारीख 24 जुलाई, 1972 में एतद्वारा निम्नलिखित मशोधन करती है , अर्थात्

अर्थात् उक्त अधिसूचना मे, स्पष्टीकरण की मद ( ii ) के म्थान पर , निम्नलिखित मद रखी जाएगी,

" ( ii ) " टुकडो" शब्द से निम्नलिखित श्रभिप्रेत है

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub rule ( 1 ) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules , 1944 , the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance ( Department of Revenue and Insurance ) No 80 / 69 - Central Excises , dated the 1st March , 1969 , namely-

In the said notification , for serial number 2 , the following shall be substituted , namely

" 2. " Rags " , that is to say ,

(a) bona fide cut - pieces of rayon or artificial silk fabrics of length more than 23 centimetres but less than 45 centimetres where the width of the fabric 19 1 metre on more and of length more than 23 centi- metres but less than 65 centimeties where the width of the fabric 19 less than 1 metre arising during the normal course of manufacturing (including processing ) or packing or drawing samples , and (1) cut pieces of damaged or sub - standard rayon or artificial silk fabrics of length more than 23 centimetres but less inan 45 centimetres where the width of the fabric 14 1 metre or more and of length more than 23 centímetres but less than 65 centimetres where the width of the fabric is less than 1 metre

2 This notification shall come into force on the 15th day of February , 1973 .

"( if ) the expression " fents " means-

(a) bona fide cut - pieces of rayon or artificial silk fabrics of length 45 centi- metres or more but not exceeding 90 centimetres where the width of the fabric is one metre or more , and of length 65 centimetres or more but not exceeding 135 centimetres where the width of the fabric is less than one metre , arising during the normal course of manufacturing ( including processing ) ог packing or drawing samples; and

सा ० का ० नि ० 21 ( अ ) अतिरिक्त उत्पाद शुल्क ( विशेष महत्व का माल ) अधिनियम, 1957 ( 1957 का 58 ) की धारा 3 की उपधारा ( 3 ) के साथ पठित, केन्द्रीय उत्पाद- शुल्क नियम, 1944 के नियम 8 के उपनियम ( 1 ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, केन्द्रीय सरकार , भारत सरकार के वित्त मंत्रालय ( राजस्व और बीमा विभाग ) की अधिसूचना सं ० 179 /72- केन्द्रीय उत्पाद शुल्क, तारीख 24 जुलाई, 1972 में एतद्वारा निम्नलिखित संशोधन करती है, अर्थात्:--

उक्त अधिसूचना में, स्पष्टीकरण की मद ( ii ) के स्थान पर, निम्नलिखित मंद रखी जाएगी अर्थात् :--

" ( ii ) "टुकड़ों" शब्द से निम्नलिखित अभिप्रेत है:--

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - sections ( 2 ) and ( 3 ) of section 3 of the Central Excises and Salt Act, 1944 ( 1 of 1944 ) , the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance ( Department of Revenue and Insurance ) No. 138 / 70 - Central Excises , dated the 13th June , 1970 , namely: -- In the said notification , for the existing proviso , the following proviso shall be substituted , namely : -

"Provided that nothing contained in this notification shall apply to fents , that is to say ,-

( a) bona fide cut - pieces of rayon or artificial silk fabrics of length 45 centi- metres or more but not exceeding 90 centimetres where the width of the fabric is one metre or more , and of length 65 centimetres or more but not exceeding 135 centimetres where the width of the fabric is less than one metre , arising during the normal course of manufacturing ( including processing ) or packing or drawing samples ; an

(b) damaged rayon or artificial silk fabrics of length 45 centimetres or more but not excecding 90 centimetres where the width of the fabric is one metre or more , and of length 65 centimetres or more but not exceeding 135 centimetres where the width of the fabric is less than one metre . " 2. This notification shall come into force on the 15th day of February , 1973 .

(क ) विनिर्माण (जिसमे प्रसम्करण भी सम्मिलित है ) या पैक करने या नमूने लेने के प्रमामान्य अनुक्रम के दौरान निकले रेयन या कृत्रिम रेशम के तन्तुकृतों के वस्तुत : कटे टुकडे, जो, जहां तन्तुकृत की चौडाई एक मीटर या उमसे अधिक हो वहां, 45 सेंटीमीटर या उससे अधिक किन्तु १० सेंटीमीटर से अनधिक लम्बे हों और जहां तन्सुक्कृते की चौडाई एक मीटर से कम हो वहां , 65 सेंटीमीटर या उसने अधिक किन्तु 135 सेंटीमीटर से अनधिक लम्बे हों; और

(ख) क्षत नेयन या कृत्रिम रेशम के तन्तुकृत , जो जहां तन्तुकृत की चौड़ाई एक मीटर या उससे अधिक हो वहां , 45 सेंटीमीटर या उनसे अधिक किन्तु 90 सेंटीमीटर से अनधिक लम्बे हों और जहां तन्तुक्रत की चौड़ाई एक मीटर से कम हो वहां , 65 सेंटीमीटर या उससे अधिक किन्तु 135 सेंटीमीटर से अधिक लम्बे हों । "

2. यह अधिसूचना 1973 की फरवरी के 15 वें दिन प्रवत्त होगी ।

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 37 of the Central Excises and Salt Act , 1944, ( 1 of 1944 ) , the Central Government heresy the following further amendments in the Central Excise Rules , 1944 , namely: - (1) These rules may be called he Central Excise (Amendment ) Rules , 1973 .

(2) In the Central Excise Rules , 1944 , in rule 96A , for sub - clauses ( b ) and ( c) of clause ( ii) , the following sub - clauses shall be substituted , namely :-

" (b) " rags " , that is to say ,-

but less than 65 centimetres where the width of the fabric is less than 1 metre , arising during the normal course of manufacturing (including processing ) or packing or drawing samples ; and ( ii ) cut - pieces of damaged or sub - standard cotton fabrics of length more than 23 centimetres but less than 45 centimetres where the width of the fabric is 1 metre or more , and of length more than 23 centimetres but less than 65 centimetres where the width of the fabrics is less than 1 metre;

(i) bona fide cut - pieces of cotton fabrics ( excluding cut - pieces of towels ) of length 45 centimetres or more but not exceeding 90 centimetres where the width of the fabric is one metre or more , and of length 65 centimetres or more but not exceeding 135 centimetres where the width of the fabric is less than one metre , arising during the normal course of manufacturing ( including processing ) or packing or drawing samples ;

( ii ) damaged cotton fabrics ( excluding damaged towels) of length 45 centimetres or more but not exceeding 90 centimetres where the width of the fabric is one metre or more , and of length 65 centimetres or more but not exceeding 135 centimetres where the width of the fabric is less than one metre ; and

( lii ) cut - pieces of length 45 centimetres or more but not exceeding 90 centimetres where the width of the fabric is one metre or more , and of length 65 centimetres or more but not exceeding 135 centimetres where the width of the fabric is less than one metre , cut from damaged dhoties or sarees . " .

2. This notification shall come into force on the 15th February , 1973 .

( ii ) क्षत या निम्नस्तर कपास के तन्तुकृतों के कटे टुकड़े , जो, जहां तन्तुकृत की चौडाई एक मीटर या उससे अधिक हो वहां , 23 सेंटीमीटर से अधिक किन्तु 45 सेंटीमीटर से कम लम्बे हों और जहां तन्तुकृत की चौड़ाई एक मोटर से कम हो वहां, 23 सेंटीमीटर से अधिक किन्तु 65 सेंटीमीटर से कम लम्बे हों;

(ग) "टुकड़े " , अर्थात्ः--

( i ) विनिमोण ( जिसमें प्रसंस्करण भी सम्मिलित है ) या पैक करने या नमूने लेने के प्रणमामान्य अनुक्रम के दौरान निकले कपास के तन्तुकृतों के वस्तुतः कटे टुकड़े ( जिनके अन्तर्गत तौलियों के कटे तुकड़े नही आते ) , जो, जहां तन्तुकृत की चौडाई एक मीटर या उसमे अधिक हो वहां , 45 सटीमीटर या उसमे अधिक किन्तु 90 सेंटीमीटर में अनधिक लम्बे हों और जहां तन्तुवन की चौड़ाई एक मीटर से कम हो वहां , 65 सेंटीमीटर या उसमे अधिन किन्तु 135 सेटीमीटर से यनधिक लम्बे है।;

( ii ) क्षत कपास के तन्तुगुन ( जिनके अन्तर्गत क्षन तीलियां नहीं आती) जा, जहां तन्तुकृत की चौड़ाई एक मीटर या उगमे अधिक हो, वहां 45 सेंटीमीटर या उभमें अधिक किन्तु ५० मेटीमीटर में अनधिक लम्बे हो और जहां तन्तुकृत की चौड़ाई एक मीटर से कम हो वहां , 65 सेंटीमीटर या उसमे अधिक किन्तु 135 मेटीमीटर में अनधिक लम्बे हों; और

( iii ) क्षन धोतियों या साडियो के कटे टुकड़े , जो, जहां तन्तुकृत की चौड़ाई एक मीटर या उससे अधिक हो वहां , 45 सेंटीमीटर या उससे अधिक किन्तु 90 मेटीमोटर से ग्रनधिक लम्बे हों और जहां तन्तुकृन की चौड़ाई एक मीटर से कम हो बहां , 65 मेटीमीटर या उससे अधिक किन्तु 135 मेटीमीटर से अनधिक लम्बे हो । "

2. यह अधिसूचना , 1973 की फरवरी के 15 वे दिन प्रवृत्त होगी ।
