New Delhi, the 25th January 1973
G.S.R. 28(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of section 1 of the Wild Life (Protection) Act 1972 (53 of 1972), the Central Government hereby appoints the data of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette as the date on which the said Act shall come into force in the State of Madhya Pradesh.

G.S.R. 29(E).—In exer-ise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of oub-Bection (I) of section 63 of the Wild Life (Protection) Act. 1972 (53 of 1972), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules, namely: —
1. Short title and commencement.—(1) These rules may be called the Wild Life (Stock Declaration) Central Rules, 1973.
(?) Thev shall come Into force in the Stato nf Madhya Pradesh on thp 2nth JaTinarv 1973, and In other States and Union territories on such date as tnp Central Government may by notification appoint, and different dates may be appointed for different States and Union territories.
2. Declaration by manufacturer of, dealer or taxidermist in animal article etc.— Evpry manufacturer of, or dealer In, animal article or every dpaler In captive animals, trophies or uncured trophies or every taxidermist shell, within fifteen davs from the commencement of the Wild Lif" (Protection) Act 1972, declare his stocks of animal articles, captive animals, trophies and uncured trophies, as the case may be, as on the date of such declaration to the Chief Wild Life Warden in the form given below.

5. Actual stock held on the date of declaration In uncurred trophies.

6. Hemarks if any. I do hereby declare that the information given above is true to the best of my knowledge and belief.
