ORDER

New Delhi, the 30th January 1973

G.S.R. 37(E),—Whereas it appears to the Central Government that it is necessary and expedient 90 to do for securing the equitable distribution of the essential commodity, namely fertiliser

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Essential Commo- dities Act, 1955 (10 of 1955) the Central Government hereby directs that the manufacturers speci- fied in the Schedule given below:

(1) shall sell to the registered fertiliser dealers in the States or Union Territories or to the Tea Board mentioned in column 1 of the said schedule, fertiliser of the description and quantity mentioned therein and during the period 1st Feb., 1973 to 31st March, 1973; and

(2) shall submit to the Central Government and the State Governments or U.Ts. or Tea Board mentioned in column 1 of the said schedule a statement by the 15th day of every month containing therein (i) the quantity of fertiliser despatched to various dealers in the States, Union Terri- tories and Tea Board mentioned in column 1 with the dates of despatch during the previous month; and

(ii) the quantity of fertiliser which the said manufacturers propose to despatch to the various dealers in the States, Union Territories and Tea Board mentioned in column I in the succeeding month.
