NOTIFICATIONS
New Delhi, the 1st February 1973
G.S.R. 42(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by Sub-Section (3) of section 1 of the Wild Life (Protection) Act, 1972 (S3 of 1972), the Central Government hereby appoints the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette as the date on which the said Act shall come into force in the State of Gujarat.

G.S.R. 43(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of sub cllon (1) of Section 6H of the Wild Life (Protection; Act, 1972 (53 of 197a;, the Central Government hereby makes the following rules, namely:—
1. Short title an<3| commencement.—(1) These rules may be called the Wild Life (Stock Declaration) Central Rules, 1973,
(2) They shall come into lorce in the Slate of Gujarat on the 1st February, 1973, and in other States and Union territories on such date as the Central Govern- ment may by notification, appoint and different dates may be appointed for differ- ent States and Union territories.
2. Declaration by manufacturer of, dealer or taxidermist in, animal article etc.— Every manufacturer of, or dealer in, animal article or every dealer in captive animals, trophies or uncured trophies or oyery taxidermist shall, within fifteen days from the commencement of the Wild Life (Protection) Act, 1972, declare his stocks of animal articles, captive animals, trophies and uncured trophies, as the case may be, as on the date of such declaration to the Chief Wild Life Warden in the llrm given below.

THE WILD LIFE PROTECTION CENTRAL RULES, 1973
G.S.R. 45(E).—In exercise oil the powers conferred by clause (a) of sub-section (1) of Section 03 of the Wild Life (Protection) Act, 1972 (S3 of 1972), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules, namely:—
1. Short t(ltle and commencement.— (1) These rules may be called the Wild Life (Stock Declaration) Central Rules, 1973.
(2) They shall come into force in the State of Uttar Pradesh on 1st February, 1973, and in other States and Union territories on such date as the Central Gov- ernment may by notification, appoint and different dates may be appointed for different States and Union territories.
2. Declaration by manufacturer of, dealer or taxidermist in, animal article etc.—
Every manufacturer of, or dealer in, anlmol article or every dealer in captive animals, trophies or uncured trophies or every taxidermist shall, within fifteen days from the commencement of the Wild Life (Protection) Act, 1972, declare his stocks of animal articles, captive animals, trophies and uncured trophies, as the case may be, as on the date of such declaration to the Chief Wild Life Warden in the form given below.
