NOTIFICATION

G.S.R. 49(E),—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 3 of the All India Services Act. 1951 (61 of 1951) read with Rule 11 of the Indian Administrative Service (Pay) Rules, 1954-the Central Government, in consultation with the Governments of Manipur and Tripura, hereby makes-the following amendments to Schedule III appended to the said rule;,.
2. (1) These rules may be called the Indian Administrative Service (Pay) Third Amendment Rules, 1973.
(2) They shall come into force on the dute of their publication in the Official Gazette.
3. In Schedule III appended to the Indian Administrative Service (Pay) Rules 1954, under the healing "A-Posts carrying pay above the time-scale under the State Governments" against "Manipur and Tripura" for the entries :—
"Manipur . . , Chief Secretary Rs. 2500—125/2—1750"
"Tripura . , . Chief Secretary Rs. 2500—125/2—sy.icl"
the following entries shall be substituted, namely:—
"Manipur . . . Chief Secretary Rs. 3000" "Tripura , , . Chief Secretary Rs. 3000"
