New Delhi, the 3rd February 1973 SUBJECT—Import of Asafoctida (Hing), S. No. 31(b)/V, ITC from Afghanistan and counter export of goods pom India , under Indo-Afghan Trade Arrangement 1972-73 (i.e. 1st March, 1972 to 28th February, 1973) — Introduction o,f banking system-
No. 18-lTC(PN)/73.--Attention is invited to the Ministry of Foreign Trade Public Notice No. 164-ITC(PN)/72, dated the 18th November, 1972, regarding import of Asafoetida (Hing) from Afghanistan, through banking channels.
2. It has been provided in paragraph 9 of the aforesaid Public Notice that the other terms and conditions as contained in the Ministry of Foreign Trade Public Notice No. 93-ITC(PN)/72, dated the 30th June, 1972, will apply the case of import of Asafoetida from Afghanistan. In partial modification of this provision, it has been decided that the value of imported Asafoetida for The purpose of debit to the CCPs and for remittance to the supplier, through the bank, as also for the purpose of determining counter-balancing exports in respect of such imports, will be the value as declared in the supplier's invoice and appealing in the Bill of Exchange.
