SUBJECT.—Import Policy for Registered Exporters for the year April 1972-March 1973 (Amend- ment No. 47).
No. 21-ITC (PN)/73.—Attention is invited to the Import Policy for Registered Exporters contained in the Import Trade Control Policy (Red Book) Vol. II for the period April 1972-March 1973, issued under the late Ministry of Foreign Trade Public Notice No. 47-ITC(PN)/72, dated 3-4-1972.
2. The following amendments may be made at the appropriatc_places as indicated below:—

4. The items mentioned in para 3 above may be inserted alphabetically at the appropriate places in the Index of the above Red Book under the relevant product groups.
5. The following amendments may be made in the Index of the above Red Book:—
(i) The entry "Cotter pins for bicycle' appearing on pigi vii of fie Index may be amend- ded to read as "Cotter pins."
(ii) The entry "Crank cotter pins" appearing on pige vii of the Index may be amended to read as "Crank corler pins for bicycles."
(iii) The entry "Tin toys A.25" appearing on page xxiii of the Index may be amended to read as "Tin toys, mechamcul/battery operated A-50.1". (iv) The entry "Mechanical battery operated toys (made of ploystyrene, polythclene and polyprophylene C.2y" appearing on page xxx of the Index may be amended to read as "Mechanical/battery operated toys [made of polystyrene, polythelene and polyprophylene C.29.i(BJ."].
(vi The entry "Plastic toy whistles [of poly-styrene C.29- i(B)J" appearing on page xxxi of the Index may be deleted.
6. The items "Mntor cycle spokes and nipples and alsj bicycle spikes with nipples and washers were classified under S. No. A. 135.3, v'd'- Public Notice N J. I 6 7 - I T C ( P N ) / 7 2, datsd 23-11-72. It has now been decided to amend the classific ition of the above items as under:—
