G.S.R. 65 ( E ) .--- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section ( 1 ) of section 3 of the All - India Services Act, 1951 ( 61 of 1951 ) read with rule 7 of the Indian Administrative Service ( Recruitment ) Rules , 1954 , the Central Govern- ment , after consultation with the State Governments concerned and the Union Public Service Commission , hereby makes the following regulations further to amend the Indian Administrative Service (Appointment hy Competitive Examina- tion) Regulations , 1955 , namely:-
1. ( 1 ) These regulations may be called the Indian Administrative Service (Appointment by Competitive Examination ) Amendment Regulations , 1973.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. To condition ( iii - a ) of regulation 4 of the Indian Administrative Service (Appointment by Competitive Examination ) Regulations 1955 , the following proviso shall be added; namely: --
"Provided that for the purpose of the exammation to be held during the year 1973 he shall not be ineligible for the reason only that he had competed inore than once at the examinations held after the 151 January, 1961 and before the 1st January, 1973 "

सा० फा० ति ० 65 ( थ ) भारतीय प्रशासन सेवा ( भर्ती ) नियम , 1954 के नियम 7 के साथ पठित अखिल भारतीय सेवा अधिनियम , 1951 ( 1951 का 61 ) की धारा 3 की उपधारा ( 1 ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए केन्द्रीय सरकार, संबंधित राज्य सरकारों तथा संघ लोक सेवा आयोग से परामर्श करने के पश्चात् भारतीय प्रशासन सेवा ( प्रतियोगिता परीक्षा द्वारा नियुक्ति) विनियम , 1955 में और भी संशोधन करने के लिए एतदद्वारा निम्नलिखित विनियम बनती है, अर्थात्:--
1. ( 1 ) ये विनियम भारतीय प्रशासन सेवा ( प्रतियोगिता परीक्षा द्वारा नियुक्ति ) संशोधन विनियम, 1973 कहे आ सकेंगे ।
( 2 ) ये सरकारी राजपत्र में प्रकाशन की तारीख से लागू होंगे ।
2. भारतीय प्रशासन सेवा ( प्रतियोगिता परीक्षाद्वारा नियुक्ति ) विनियम , 1955 के विनियम 4 की गते ( iii- क ) में निम्नलिखित परम्सुक जोड़ा जायेगा, अर्थात्:-
" किन्तु यह कि वर्ष 1973 में ली जाने वाली परीक्षा के प्रयोजन के लिए वह केवल इस कारण से अपाल नहीं होगा कि वह 1 जनवरी , 1961 के पश्चात् तथा । जनवरी, 1973 से पहिले ली गई परीक्षाओं में एक से अधिक बार प्रतियोगिता कर चुका है" ।

से परामर्श करने के पश्चात भारतीय पुलिस मेधा ( प्रतियोगिता परीक्षा द्वारा नियुक्ति ) विनियम. 1955 में और भी सशोधन करने के लिए एतद्वारा निम्नलिखित विनियम बनाली है , अर्थात्. -- 1. ( 1 ) य विनियम भारतीय पुलिस सेवा ( प्रतियोगिता परीक्षा द्वारा नियुक्ति ) संशोधन विनियम , 1973 कहे ज सबोंगे ।
( 2 ) ये मरकारी गजपत्र में प्रकाशन की तारीख में लागू होंगे ।
2. भारतीय पुलिस सेवा ( प्रतियोगिता परीक्षा द्वारा नियुक्ति ) विनियम , 1955 के विनियम + की शर्त ( iii--क ) में निम्नलिखित परन्तुक जोड़ा आयेगा , अर्थात्: --
