G.8.R. 70(E).—The following Order made by the President on 12th February, 1973 is published for general information;-—
THE STATES REORGANISATION (GOVERNORS' ALLOWANCES AND PRIVILEGES) AMENDMENT ORDER, 1973
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 73 of the States Reorganisation Act, 1956 (37 of 1956), I, V. V. Giri, President of India, hereby makes the following Order further to amend the States Reorganisation (Governors' Allowances and Privileges) Order, 1957, namely: —
1. This Order may be called the States Reorganisation (Governors' Allowances and Privileges) Amendment Order, 1973.
2. In the States Reorganisation (Governors' Allowances and Privileges) Order, 1957, in the Second Schedule after proviso (4), the following provisos shall be inserted, namely: —
"(5) Provided further that for the financial year 1971-72 this Schedule shall, in so far as it relates to the State of Maharashtra, have effect as if for the figures "1,50,000" and "5,00,000" occurring- in columns 7 and 9 thereof, the figures "1,55,537" and "5,05,537" had respectively been substituted.
