NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 26th February 1973
S.O. 107(E).—Whereas the United Front of Nagaland, a recognised State Party in the State of Nagaland, has communicated that the name of the said party has been changed as United Democratic Front and the Election Commission has decided to give effect to the said change.
Now, therefore, in pursuance of paragraph 17 of the Election Symbols (Reservation and Allotment) Order, 1968, the Election Commission of India hereby makes the following amendment in its Notification No. 56/72-1, dated the 1st February, 1972 published as S.O. No, 91 (E) in an extraordinary issue of the Gazette of India, Part II, Section 3(li), dated the 2nd February, 1972, namely:—
