New Delhi, the 16th March 1973
S.O. 142 (E) .-Whereas a vacancy has occurred in the House of the People by reason of the death of Shri Iswar Marandi, a member elected to that House from 24 - Rajmahal (ST) Parliamentary Constituency in the State of Bihar;
149 Now, therefore , in pursuance of the provisions of sub - section ( 1 ) of section of the Representation of the People Act, 1951 ( 43 of 1951 ) , the Election Commission hereby calls upon the said constituency to elect before the 20th April , 1973 , in accord- ance with the provisions of the said Act and of the Rules and Orders made thereunder , a person belonging to the Scheduled Tribes to fill the said vacancy.

एस ० ओ० 142 (अ) -यतः बिहार राज्य में के 24 राजमहल ( अ ० ज ० जा ० ) संसदीय निर्वाचन क्षेत्र से लोक सभा के लिए निर्वाचित सदस्य श्री ईश्वर मरांडी की मृत्यु हो जाने से लोक सभा में एक स्थान रिक्त हो गया है ।

अतः , अब , लोक प्रतिनिधित्व अधिनियम , 1951 ( 1951 का 43 ) की धारा 149 की उपधारा ( 1 ) के उपबन्धों के अनुगरण में निर्वाचन आयोग उक्त निर्वाचन क्षेत्र से एतद्वारा अपेक्षा करता है कि ऐसे हुई रिक्ति को भरने के लिए 20 अप्रैल , 1973 से पूर्व , उक्त अधिनियम के और तद्धीन बनाए गए नियमों और ग्रादेशों के उपबन्धों के अनुसार अनुसूचित जन जाति का एक व्यक्ति निर्वाचित करवें ।

S.O. 143(E ) . In pursuance of section 30 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951 ( 43 of 1951 ) the Election Commission hereby appoints , with respect to the bye- election to be held in 24- Rajmahal ( ST ) Parliamentary Constituency in the State of thold in pursuance of its Notification No. 100/BR/HP/ 2 / 72 ( 1 ) , dated the 16th March , 1973-
(a) the 23rd March , 1973 ( Friday ) , as the last date for making nominations ;
(b ) the 24th March, 1973 ( Saturday ) , as the date for the scrutiny of nominations ;
(c) the 26th March , 1973 ( Monday ) , as the last date for the withdrawal of candidatures;
(d) the 15th April , 1973 ( Sunday) , as the date on which a poll shall , if neces- sary, be taken ; and ( e) the 20th April , 1973 ( Friday ) , as the date before which the election shall be completed.

एस० श्रो० 143 (श्र ) लोक प्रतिनिधित्व अधिनियम , 1951 ( 1951 का 43 ) की धारा 30 के अनुसरण में निर्वाचन आयोग अपनी अधिसूचना सं ० 100/बिहार लो० स ०/ 2/ 72 72 ( 1 ) , तारीख 16 मार्च , 1973 के अनुसरण में बिहार राज्य में के 24- राजमहल ( अजजा) संसदीय निर्वाचित क्षेत्र से होने वाले उप - निर्वाचन के बारे में-
(क) नामनिर्देशन करने के लिए अन्तिम तारीख 23 मार्च, 1973 ( शुक्रवार ) ;
(ख ) नामनिर्देशनों की संवीक्षा की तारीख 24 मार्च, 1973 ( शनिवार ) ;
( ग) अभ्यथिता वापस लेने की अन्तिम तारीख 26 मार्च, 1973 ( सोमवार ) ;
15 अप्रैल , 1973 ( रविवार ) , तथा ( घ) यह तारीख जिसको यदि आवश्यक हो, तो मतदान होगा
( ड . ) वह तारीख जिसके पूर्व निर्वाचन समाप्त कर 20 अप्रैल , 1973 ( शुक्रवार) दिया जाएगा
एतद्वारा नियत करता है ।

S.O. 144(E ) -In pursuance of section 56 of the Representation of the People Act , 1951 ( 43 of 1951 ) the Election Commission hereby fixes the hours from 7 A.M. to $ P.M. as the hours during which a poll shall, if necessary, be taken for the bye-election to the House of the People from 24- Rajmahal ( ST ) Parliamentary Constituency, to be held in pursuance of its Notification No. 100/BR / HP / 2 / 72 ( 1 ) , dated the 16th March, 1973 .

एस ० ग्रो० 144 ( अ ) लोक प्रतिनिधित्व अधिनियम , 1951 ( 1951 का 43 ) की धारा 56 के अनुसरण में निर्वाचन आयोग अपनी अधिसूचना सं ० 100/ बिहार- लो ० स ०/ 2/ 72 ( 1) , तारीख 16 मार्च , 1973 के अनुसरण में 24- राजमहल ( अजजा ) संसदीय निर्वाचन क्षेत्र मे लोक सभा के लिए होने वाले निर्वाचन के लिए 7 बजे पूर्वाह्न से 5 बजे अपराह्न तक का समय उस समय के रूप में एतद्वारा नियत करता है जिसके दौरान यदि आवश्यक हो तो, मतदान होगा ।
