New Delhi , the 16th March 1973
S.O. 148 ( E ) . In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section ( 5 ) of section 5 ot the Emergency Risks ( Goods ) Insurance Act , 1971 (50 of 1971 ) , the Central Govern- ment hereby makes the following scheme further to amend the Emergency Risks ( Goods Insurance Scheme published with the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance ( Department of Revenue and Insurance ) No. S.O. 5483 , dated the 10th December , 1971 , namely:---
(1) This Scheme may be called the Emergency Risks ( Goods ) Insurance ( Amend ment) Scheme, 1973 .
(2) It shall come into force on the 1st day of April , 1973 .
2. In the Emergency Risks ( Goods ) Insurance Scheme , for sub - paragraph ( 1 ) of para- graph 10, the following sub - paragraph shall be substituted , namely:----
" ( 1 ) The premium payable under any policy of insurance in respect of the quarter ending on the 30th day of June , 1973 , shall ,-
( a) in respect of a policy of insurance in force on the 31st March, 1973 , be nul :
(b) in the case of all new policies , including supplementary policies to the existing ones , be at the rate of six paise for every hundred rupees or any part thereof of the sum insured."

का० श्र ०148 ( श्र ) -श्रापात जोखिम ( माल ) बीमा अधिनियम , 1971 ( 1971 का 50 ) की धारा 5 की उपधारा ( 5 ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए , केन्द्रीय सरकार , भारत सरकार के वित्त मंत्रालय ( राजस्व और बीमा विभाग ) की तारीख 10 दिसम्बर , 1971 की अधिसूचना सं ० सं ० का ० आ ० 5483 के साथ प्रकाशित श्रापात जोखिम ( माल ) बीमा स्कीम में और संशोधन करने के लिए एतद्वारा निम्नलिखित स्कीम बनाती है , अर्थात्ः-
( 1 ) इस स्कीम का नाम आपात जोखिम ( माल ) बीमा ( संशोधन ) स्कीम , 1973 होगा !
( 2) यह अप्रैल 1973 के प्रथम दिन को प्रवृत्त होगी ।
2. आपात जोखिम ( माल ) बीमा स्कीम में , पैरा 10 के उपपैरा ( 1 ) के स्थान पर निम्नलिखित उपपैरा प्रतिस्थापित किया जायेगा , अर्थात्ः--
" ( 1 ) बीमा की किसी पालिसी के अधीन , जून , 1973 के तीसवें दिन को समाप्त होने वाली तिमाही की बाबत संदेय प्रीमियम ,
(क) 31 मार्च 1973 को प्रवृत्त बीमा गरी पालिसी की बाबत शून्य होगा ;
( ख ) सभी नई पालिसियों की दणा में, अनुपूरक मालिसियां भी आती हैं, किसी भाग के लिए छह पैसे की दर जिन के अन्तर्गत विद्यमान, पालिसियों की बीमाकृत राशि के प्रत्येक सौ रुपए या उसके पर होगा ।"

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section ( 6) of section 3 of the Emergency Risks ( Undertakings ) Insurance Act , 1971 ( 51 of 1971 ) , the Central Government hereby makes the following Scheme further to amend the Emergency Risks (Undertakings ) Insurance Scheme published with the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue and Insurance ) No. S. O. 5486 , dated the 10th December , 1971 , namely: --
(1) This Scheme maybe called the Emergency Risks ( Undertakings ) Insurance (Amendment) Scheme , 1973 . (
2) It shall come into force on the 1st day of April , 1973 .
2. In the Emergency Risks ( Undertakings ) Insurance Scheme, for sub - paragraph ( 1 ) of paragraph 8, the following sub - paragraph shall be substituted, namely:--

कॉ० भा० 149 ( प्र) -श्रापात जोखिम ( उपक्रम ) बीमा अधिनियम 1971 ( 1971 का 51 ) की धारा 3 की उपधारा ( 6) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए , केन्द्रीय सरकार , भारत सरकार के वित्त मंत्रालय ( राजस्व और बीमा विभाग ) की तारीख 10 दिसम्बर , 1971 की अधिसूचना सं ० का ० ग्रा० 5486 के साथ प्रकाशित आपात जोखिम ( उपक्रम ) बीमा स्कीम में और संशोधन करने के लिए एतद्वारा निम्नलिखित स्कीम बनाती है, अर्थात्ः-
( 1 ) इस स्कीम का नाम आपात जोखिम ( उपक्रम) बीमा ( संशोधन ) स्कीम , 1973 होगा ।
( 2) यह अप्रैल 1973 के प्रथम दिन को प्रवृत्त होगी ।
2. आपात ओखिम ( उपक्रम ) बोमा स्कीम में , पैरा 8 के उप- पैरा ( 1 ) के स्थान पर निम्नलिखित उप -पंरा प्रतिस्थापित किया जाएगा अर्थात:-
" ( 1 ) बीमा की किसी पालिसी के अधीन , जून 1973 के तीसवें दिन को समाप्त होने वाली तिमाही की बाबत संदेय प्रीमियम, -
(क) 31 मार्च 1973 को प्रवृत्त बीमा की पालिसी की बाबत शून्य होगा;
( ख ) सभी नई पालिसियों की दशा में , जिनके अन्तर्गत विद्यमान पालिसियों की अनुपूरक पालिसियां भी आती हैं, बीमाकृत राशि के प्रत्येक सौ रुपए, या उसके किसी भाग के लिए दस पैसे की दर पर होगा । "
