NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 20th March 1973
S.O. 1S8(E).—In pursuance of section 67 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951 (43 of 1951), the following declaration containing the name of the candidate elected to fill the vacancy in the Council of States is published for general information:—
DECLARATION
Election to the Council of Stales by the Elected members of the Bihar Legislative
Assembly.
"In pursuance of the provisions contained in sub-section (2) of Section 53 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951, read with sub-rule (1) of rule 11 of the Conduct of Elections Rules, 1961, I declare that Ajijan Imam, of S. P, Varma Road, Patna-1, has been duty elected to fill the vacancy caused in that House by the death of shri Chaudhary A. Mohammad.
