NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 28th March 1974
S.O. 218(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of sec- tion 8 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (2 of 1973), the Central Govern- ment hereby declares that on and from the 1st day of April 1974, the areas falling within the local limits of—
(a) the Municipal Corporation of Delhi,
(b) the New Delhi Municipal Committee, and
(c) the Delhi Cantonment Board.
shall be a metropolitan area for the purposes of the said Code.
