ORDER
New Delhi, the 31st March 1973
G. S. R. 185(E).—Whereas it appears to the Central Government that it is necessary and expedient so to do for securing the equitable distribution of the essential commodity namely fertilisers;
Now, therefore, in exercise of thepowersconferred by section 3 of the Essential Commodi- tjes Act, 1955 (10 of 1955) the Central Government hereby directs that the manufacturers specified in the Schedule given below :
(1) shall sell to the registered fertiliser dealers in the States or Union Territories men- tioned in column 1 of the said schedule, fertiliser of the description and quantity mentioned therein and during the period 1st April, 1973 to31st May, 1973 ; and (2) shall submit to the Central Government and the State Governments, or U. T- S • mentioned in column 1 of the said schedule a statement by the 15th day of every month containing therein:—
(i) the quantity of fertiliser despatched to various dealers in the States and Union Territories mentioned in column 1 with the dates of despatch during the previous month ; and
(ii) the quantity of fertiliser which the said manufacturers propose to despatch to the various dealers in the States and Union Territories mentioned in Colo in the succeeding month.
