New Delhi, the 2nd April 1973
G.S.R. I92(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 3 of the All India Services, Act, 1951 (61 of 1951) read with Rule 4 of the Indian Forest Service (Cadre) Rules, 1966, the Central Government, in consultation with the Government of Maharashtra hereby makes the following regulations further to amend the Indian Forest Service (Fixation of Cadre Strength) Regulations, 1966, namely :—
1. (1) These Regulations may be called the Indian Forest Service (Fixation of Cadre Strength) Amendment Regulations, 1973.
(2) T h ey shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Gazette of India.
2. In the Schedule to the Indian Forest Service (Fixation of Cadre Strength) Regulations, 1966, .
for the entries under the heading "Maharashtra", the following shall be substituted namely:—
