ORDER
New Delhi, the 24th April 1973
S.O. 245(E).—Whereas by the order of the Government of India in the late Ministry of Industrial Development, Internal Trade and Company Affairs No. S O. 3609/IDRA/ 18A/69, dated the 1ft September, 1969, read with the Orders of the Government of India, in the Ministry of Foreign Trade Nos. S.O. 616, dated the 3rd February, 1971 and S.O. 3252, dated the 30th August, 1971, the management of the industrial undertaking known as New Victoria Mills Company limited, Kanpur (hereinafter referred to as the said in- dustrial undertaking) has been taken over under section 18A of the Industries (Develop- ment and Regulation) Act, 1951 (65 of 1951), for a period of four years up to and in- clusive of the 31st August, 1973;
And whereas the Central Government is satisfied that in 1elation to the said industrial undertaking it is necessary so to do in the interests of the general public with a view to preventing fall in the volume of production of the scheduled industry, namely, the cotton textile industry;
