New Delhi, the 5th May 1973

O.S.R. 333(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (d) of rule 8 of the Rajya Sabha Secretariat (Recruitment and Conditions of Service) Rules, 1957, the Chairman, Rajya Sabha, after consultation with the Ministry of Finance, hereby makes the following further amendments in the Second Schedule to those Rules, with effect from the 1st September, 1972, namely:—

In the Second Schedule to the said Rules, under the heading "Class I-Gazetted—

In Column 3 showing the "Pay or scale of pay otherwise admissible"—

against item "8. Chief Reporter" for the existing entry, the following shall be substituted:— "Rs. 900—40—1100—50/2—1250".

"20. Committee Reporter Rs. 350—25—500—30—590—EB —30—800—EB—30—830—35— 900.

and the existing SI. Nos. of the items commencing from "ao. Assistant Editor" to "24. Assistant Watch & Ward Officer shall be ri-numbtrtd as "2i. Assistant Editor" to "25. Assistant Watch & Ward Officer".

(d) under the heading "Class II Non-Gazetted" the entries relating to item "25. Committee Reporter" shall be deleted.

G.S.R. 235 (E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (2) of rulo 3 of the Rajya Sabha Secretariat (Recruitment and Conditions of Service) Rules, 1957, the Chairman, Rajya Sabha, after consultation with the Ministry of Finances hereby makes the following further amendments to the First Scheduled to those Rules, with effect from the 1st September, 1972, namely:—

In the First Schedule to the said Rules—

(a) under the heading "Class I Gazened" after the entries relating to item "10.
