NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 30th, June 1973
S.O. 365(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 73A of the Employees' State Insurance Act, 1948 (34 of 1948), the Central Government hereby directs that the following amendment shall be made in the notification of the Government of India in the late Ministry of Labour No. S.R.O. 279, dated the 6th February, 1952, namely: —
In the said notification, after the second proviso to paragraph 2, the follow- ing proviso shall be Inserted, namely; —
"Provided also that in the case of wage period commencing before and ending on or after the 30th June, 1973, the amount to bo included in such wage bill, shall be such amount as bears to the wages for such wage period, the same proportion which the number of days Included in the wage period from the first day of such wage period to the 30th June, 1973 (both days inclusive) bears to the total num- ber of days in such wage period".
