NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 13tth July 1973
S.O. 393 (E).—Whereas the Union of India had agreed and undertaken before the High Court of Judicature at Bombay in accordance with the consent terms dated the 22nd day of June, 1973 in Special Civil Application No. 1257 of 1973 that the Notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting No. 9/10/73-FC, dated the 14th May, 1973, relating to the film entitled YE GULISTAN HAMARA" (Hindi) would not be operative and/or •enforced in any part of India save and except the States and areas of Nagaland, Meglialaya, Assam, Manipur, Tripura, Arunachal and Mizoram;
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 6 of the Cinematograph Act, 1952 (37 of 1952), the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments in the Notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting No. 9/10/73-FC, dated the 14th May, 1973, namely : —
In the said Notification, for the words "period of two months" the words "period of two months in the States of Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Nagaland and Tripura and the'Union Territories of Arunachal Pradesh and Mizoram" shall 'be substituted.
