CORRIGENDUM

New Delhi, the 24th July 1973

DRAWBACK/PN-24/73—In Public Notice No. 22/73, published in Part (1), Section (1), of the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, dated the 1st June, 1973, the Central Government hereby makes the following corrections in the table published therein: —

(1) For the existing entry in column (3) against serial No. 1 and sub-serial No. 101, the following may be substituted, namely: —

"Fruit preserved and fruit preparations, provisions canned, bottled or otherwise, and all sorts of foods not elsewhere specified." (2) For the word 'Jelies' appearing against sub-serial No. 103 read 'Jellies'. (3) For the word 'Preserves' appearing against sub-serial No. 113 read 'Fruit preserves'.

(ti) The bracket appearing in sub-serial No. 1906 may be closed alter the word 'therelrom'.

(7) The word 'further' may be deleted from the proviso to the sub-seriul No. 1910.

(8; For the words 'or any other form' appearing against clause (b) of the proviso to sub-serial No. 1911 read 'or in any other form'.

(9) For,the word 'incldlng' appearing against sub-serial No. 1918 read 'In- cluding' and the bracket alter ihe word 'etc' may be deleted.

(10) For the word 'sunglases' appearing against sub-serial No. 1028 read 'sungoggles'.

(11) For the word 'tentur' appearing; in clause (iii) of sub-serial No. 2203 read 'tenter'.

(12) For the word 'are' appearing in clause (i) of sub-serial No. 2205 read 'area'.

(13) For the word 'specired' appearing against sub-serial No. 2401 read •specified¹.

(14) The bracket appearing in sub-serial No. 2502(A) may be closed after the words 'by any other process'.

(15) For words 'sixty none' appearing against sub-serial No. 2503(A)(III)(a) read 'sixty nine'.

(16) In sub-item (ii) of Item (f) of clause (vi) of sub-serial No. 2503(A) for the figures and words '34 counts' read '34 n,f. counts'.

(17) After the words 'or more' appearing in clause (i) oJC sub-serial No. 2504, the word 'counts' may be added.

(18) For the words 'under rule 1 of the rule 14' appearing in proviso to sub- serial No. 2512 read 'under rule 13 or rule 14'.

(19) In clause (11) of sub-serial No. 2625 for the words arid figures 'under sub- serial No. 2708(i) and (ii)(g)' read 'under sub-serial No. 2503'. (20) After the word 'fibre' appearing against clause (ii) of sub-serial No. 2025, the word 'fabric' may be added.

(21) In clause (ii) of sub-serial No. 2628 for the words and figures 'less than 69' read 'less than 69 counts'.

(22) In proviso (i) to sub-serial No. 2628, for the words 'and or falling' read 'and are falling'.

(23) For the words 'embellishment decorations' appearing against sub-serial(31) For the words 'wrenches' and 'ratches' appearing against sub-serial (32) For the word 'nickle' appearing against sub-serial No. 3913(b) read

(33) For the existing sub-serial No. 3914 and the entries relating thereto, tha following shall be substituted, namely: —

read 'auto dye jigger'.

(35) For the words 'polyarising machine' appearing against sub-serial

No. 4408 read 'polymerising machine',

(36) For the words 'saddle, covers' appearing against clause (ii) of the sub-

serial No. 5004 read 'Saddle covers'.

(37) For the word 'rolled' appearing against sub-serial No. 5005 read 'roller'.

(38) For the existing entry in column (3) against serial No. 6B, the following

ehall be substituted, namely: —

"Precious and Semi-precious stones (including diamonds set or unset) and articles made wholly or partly of alabaster or gold or silver."

(39) For the existing entry in column (3) against sub-'Berial No. 5801, the

following shall be substituted, namely: —

"Precious and semi-precious stones (including diamonds set or unset) and articles made wholly "or partly of alabaster Or gold or silver, not elsewhere specified."

(40) For the figure '3.9 rnts.' appearing in column (3) against sub-serial

No. 1003(lv)(i)(a), read '3.91 mts.'.

(41) Under sub-serial No. 3820, the following shall be added, namely: —

"NOTE.—The above rates are inclusive of drawback on packing materials."
