New Delhi, the 31st July 1973
G.S.R. 370(E),—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 3 of the All India Services Act, 1951 (61 of 1951) read with Rule 11 of the Indian Administrative Service (Pay) Rules, 1954, the Central Government in consultation with the Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby makes the following amendments to Schedule III appended to the said rules:—
2. (1) These rules may be called the Indian Administrative Service (Pay) Eighth Amendment Rules, 1973.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Gazette of India.
3. In Schedule III appended to the Indian Administrative Service (Pay) Rules, 1954, under the heading "A-posts carrying pay above the time-scale under the State Governments" against ''Andhra Pradesh", the following entry shall be added, namely:.—
"Second Secretary to Government Rs. 3,000/-"
