MINISTRY OF HOME AFFAIRS
NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 1st August 1973
S.O. 418(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 01 the Constitution, the President hereby directs that the Administrator of the Union Territory of Arunachal Pradesh shall exercise the powers to make rules in regard to the following matters, namely; —
(i) the method of recruitment to the Central Civil Services: and posts (Class II, Class III and Class IV) under his administrative control in connec- tion with the affairs of the Union Territory of Arunachal Pradesh;
(ii) the qualifications necessary for appointment to such services and posts;
and
(iii) the conditions of service of persons appointed to such services and posts for the purposes of probation, confirmation, seniority and promotion:
Provided that nothing contained in this notification shall apply to the recruit- ment rules already in force until the same are revised or superseded by the said Administrator under the powers conferred on him by this notification and that the powers of the Governor of Assam under any such rules shall be exercised by the Administrator of Union Territory of Arunachal Pradesh.
