NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 3rd August 1973
G.S.R. 380(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 7 and 28 of the idian Post Office Act, 1898 (6 of 1898), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Indian Post Office Rules, 1933, namely: —
1. (1) These rules may be called the Indian Post Office (Sixth Amendment) rules, 1973.
(2) They shall come into force on the 15th day of August, 1973.
2. In rule 59 of the Indian Post Office Rules, 1933, after the proviso, the follow- ig proviso shall be inserted, namely: —
"Provided further that only one-half of the above fee shall be charged for the registration of a value payable book packet containing printed book?, the value of which does not exceed Rs. 5/-."
