ORDER
New Delhi, the 18th August 1973
S.O. 444(E).—Whereas by the order of the Government of India in the late Ministry of Industrial Development, Internal Trade and Company Affairs (Depart- ment of Industrial Development) No. S.O. 3609/IDRA/18A/69, dated the 1st September, 1969, read with the orders of the Government of India in the late Ministry of Foreign Trade Nos. S.O. 616, dated the 3rd February, 1971 and S.O. 3252, dated the 30th August, 1971, the management of the undertaking known as New Victoria Mills Co. Ltd., Kanpur had been taken over by the Authorised Controller referred to in the order first mentioned above for a period up to and inclusive of the 31st August, 1973;
And whereas the Central Government is of opinion that it is expedient in the public interest that the management of the said undertaking by the said Authorised Controller should continue for a further period of one year;
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to pub-sec- tion (2) of section 18A of the Industries (Development and Regulation) Act, 1951 (G5 of 1951), the Central Government hereby directs that the order first mentioned above shall continue to have effect for a further period up to and inclusive of the 31st August, 1974,
