G.S.R. 406(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of flection 3 of the Central Excises and Salt Act, 1944 (1 of 1944), and in superses- sion of the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue and Insurance) No. 77/71-Central Excises, dated the 29th May, 1971, the Central Government hereby fixes for woollen yarn, specified in column (2) of the Table hereto annexed and chargeable with the duty ad valorem under Item No. 18B of the First Schedule to the said Act, the tariff value specified in the corresponding entry in column (3) of the said Table:—
