G.S.R. 417 ( E ) . In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - rule ( 1 ) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules , 1944 , read with sub - section ( 5 ) of section 28 of the Finance Act , 1973 ( 21 of 1973 ) , the Central Govennment hereby makes the following amendment to the notification of the GovernmentGovernment ofof IndiaIndia in the Ministry of Finance ( Department of Revenue and Insurance ) No. 118 /73 - Central Excises , dated the 11th May , 1973 , namely:-

सा० का० नि ० 427 ( श्र० ) वित्त अधिनियम, 1973 ( 1973 का 21) की धारा 28 की उपधारा ( 5 ) के साथ पठित केन्द्रीय उत्पाद शुल्क नियम, 1954 के नियम 8 के उपनियम ( 1) द्वारा प्रतत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, केन्द्रीय सरकार , भारत सरकार के वित्त मंत्रालय ( राजम्व और बीमा विभाग ) की अधिसूचना सं० 118/ 73-केन्द्रीय उत्पाद शुल्क- शुल्क, तारीख 11 मई, 1973 में निम्नलिखित संशोधन करती है, अर्थात्:-
उक्त अधिसूचना में, सारणी में, क्रम सं ० 8 के पश्चात् निम्नलिखित अन्तः स्थापित किया जाएगा, अर्थात्:-

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - rule ( 1) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules , 1944, read with sub - section ( 5 ) of section 28 of the Finance Act , 1973 ( 21 of 1973 ) and the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance ( Department of Revenue and Insurance ) No. 118 / 73 - Central Excises , dated the 11th May , 1973 , the Central Government hereby exempts Styrene Butadiene Rubber , of the description mentioned in colomn ( 1 ) of the Table hereto annexed and falling under item No. 16AA of the First Schedule to the Central Excises and Salt Act, 1944 ( 1 of 1944 ) ( hereinafter called the Central Excises Act ) , from so much of the auxiliary duty of excise leviable thereon under sub - section ( 1 ) of section 28 aforesaid , as is in excess of the duty specified in the recorresponding entry in column ( 2 ) of the said Table.

सा० का० नि ० 418 ( श्र० )-वित्त अधिनियम, 1973 ( 1973का 21 ) की धारा 28 की उपधारा ( 5 ) और भारत सरकार के वित्त मंत्रालय ( राजस्व और बीमा विभाग ) की अधिसूचना सं० 118173- केन्द्रीय उत्पाद शुल्क , तारीख 11 जुलाई , 1973 , के माथ पठित केन्द्रीय उत्पाद शुल्क नियम , 1944 के नियम 8 के उपनियम ( 1 ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए , केन्द्रीय सरकार , इससे उपाबद्ध मारणी के स्तंभ ( 1 ) में उल्लिखित वर्णन के और केन्द्रीय उत्पाद शुल्क और लवण अधिनियम, 1944 ( 1944 का 1) ( जिसे इसमें इसके पश्चात् केन्द्रीय उत्पाद - शुल्क अधिनियम कहा गया है ) की प्रथम अनुसूची की मद सं ० 16 कक के अन्तर्गत आने वाले स्टिरेने बटाईएने, रबर को , उस पर उपर्यक्त धारा 28 की उपधारा ( 1 ) के अधीन उदग्रहणीय उतने सहायक उत्पाद- शुल्क से, जितना उक्त सारणी के स्तम्भ ( 2 ) में की तत्स्थानी प्रविष्टि में विनिर्दिष्ट शुल्क से अधिक है, छूट देती है ।
