New Delhi, the 14th September 1973
G.S. R, 442(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section' (1) of sac tion 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1E62), the Central Government, being satis- fled that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue and Insurance) No. 17-Customs. dated the 17th February, 1973, namely.— In the said notification,—
(i) for condition (1), the following condition shall be substituted, namely:— "(1) The importer shall make a declaration on the bill of entry to the effect that the hollow in question will be used for the manufacture of seamless steel tubes to be sup piled for use in the manufacture of Industrial and power boilers;";
