G.S.R. 450CE) In exercise of the powers conferred by Sub-Section (1) of Section 3 of t he .All India Services Act, 1951 (61 of 1951), read with sub-rule (1) and the first proviso to s u b- Tule 2, of Rule 4 of the Indian Administrative Service (Caire) Rule, 1954, the Central Govern- ment, in consultation with the Government of West Bengal, hereby makes the following regulations further to amend the Indian Administrative Service (Fixation of Cadre Strength) Regulations, 1955, namely:—
1. (1) These Regulations be called the Indian Administrative Service (Fixation of Cadre Strength) Sixth Amendment Regulations, 1973.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Gazette of India) 2. In the Schedule to the Indian Administrative Service (Fixation of Catre Strength Regulations, T955, for the heading " W E ST B E N G A L " a ni the entries occurring thereunder the following shall be substituted, namely:—•
