OPEN GENERAL LICENCE NO . XCV
S.O. 524 ( E ) . In pursuance of the Imports ( Control ) Order , 1955 , the Central Government herchy gives general permissionion to all persons to import into India from any country in the world except the Union of South Africa/ South West Africa , Rhodesía , Tibet - region of China , Portugal and Pakistan any goods of the description specified in the schedule below:--
Provided that-
(1 ) In the case of goods of the description specified in the schedule below, such goods have not been produced or manufactured inin thethe Union of South Africa/ South West Africa , Rhodesia , Tibet - region of China , Portugal or Pakistan ;
( ii ) Such goods are shipped on through consignment to India or on before 31st March , 1974, without any grace period whatsoever ; and
( iii ) Nothing in this licence , shall effect the application to any goods , of any prohibition or regulation affecting the import thereof , in force at the time when such goods are imported .

एस० ओ ० 524 ( अ ) आयात ( नियंत्रण ) आदेश , 1955 के अनुसरण में केन्दीय सरकार एतद्वारा सभी व्यक्तियों को नीचे की अनुसूची में निर्दिष्ट विवरण के किसी भी माल का दक्षिणी अफ्रीका संघा, दक्षिणी पश्चिमी अफ्रीका, रोडेशिया , चीन का तिब्बत क्षेत्न , पुर्तगाल और पाकिस्तान को छोड़कर संसार के किसी भी देश से भारत में प्रायात करने की सामान्य अनमति देती है :-
बशर्ते कि:-
( 1 ) निम्नलिखित अनुसूची में निर्दिष्ट विवरण का माल वक्षिणी अफीका संवा, दक्षिणी पश्चिमी अफ्रीका , रोडेशिया , चीन का तिब्बत क्षेत्र , पुर्तगाल या पाकिस्तान में उत्पादित या निर्मित न किया गया हो ;
( 2) ऐसा माल बिना किसी रियायती अवधि के , चाहे जो भी हो , 31 मार्च, 1974 को या इससे पहले भारत को परेषण के माध्यम से पोतवाहित किया जाता है,; और
( 3 ) जब ऐसे माल का आयात किया जाता हो उस समय उसके आयात पर लागू कोई निषेध या नियम इस लाइसेंस के किसी माल के लिए लागू नहीं होगा ।
