G.S.R. 464(E).—Whereas I, F. G. T. Menezes. have been authorised by the Vegetable Oil Products Controller for India under sub-clause (a) of clause 2 of the Vegetable Oil Products Control Order 1947 to exercise the powers of the Controller under the said Order (vide G.S.R. 882. dated the 24th September 1958);
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-clause (1) of clause 4 of the Vegetable Oil Products Control Order 1947. read with the notifi- cation of the Government of India in the late Ministry of Food and Agriculture (Department of Food), No. G.S R. 882, dated the 24th September 1958. I, F G. T. Menezes, hereby make the following Order further to amend the Vegetable Oil Produces (Standards of Quality) Order 1972, No. G.S.R. 87(E), dated the 19th February, 1972, namely:—
1. (I) This Order may be called the Vegetable Oil Products (Standards of Quality) Third Amendment Order, 1973.
(2) It shall come into force at once. 2. In clause 2 of the Vegetable Oil Products (Standards of Quality) Order 1972, in sub-clause (2), in para (a"), for the second proviso, the following proviso shall be substituted, namely:—
"Provided further that, in the case of Vegetable oil product manufactured up to and including the 31st October. 1973, it shall be sufficient the total content of refined vegetable oils in such product is limited to not less than 5.0 per cent by weight of refined sesame oil but sufficient to ensure that it conforms to the specifications for Ir1 tf-" cribed under sub-clause (7)."
