NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 23rd November 1973
S.0. 709(E).—The Central Government, having considered in consultation with the Forward Markets Commission, the application for renewal of recognition made under Section 5 of the Forward Contracts (Regulation) Act, 1952 (74 of 1952) by the Kanpur Commodity Exchange Ltd., Kanpur. and being satisfied that it would be in the interest of the trade and also in the public-interest so to do, hereby grants, in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 6 of the said Act, recognition to the said Exchange for a further period of one year from the 27th November, 1973 to the 26th November, 1974 (both days inclusive), in respect of forward contracts in linseed.
