S. O. 729(E) —In exercise of the powers conferred upon me under Rule 5 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, I hereby empower the Central Excise Officers specified in column 2 of the sub-joined table tn exercise within their jurisdiction and in relation to the assessees governed by the provi- sions of Chapter VII-A of the said Rules", the powers of the "Collector" under the Central Excise Rules enumerated in Column I thereof subject to the limitations set out in Column 3 of the said table.
