New Delhi , the 11th December 1973
8.O. 770 ( E ) . Whereas a vacancy has occurred in the House of the People by reason of the death of Dr. Amrut Ganpat Sonar , a member elected to that House from 20 - Ramtek parliamentary constituency in the State of Maharashtra ;
Now , therefore , in pursuance of the provisions of sub - section ( 1 ) of section 149 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951 ( 43 of 1951 ) , the Election Commis- sion hereby calls upon the said constituency to elect a person to fill the sald vacancy before 19 January , 1974 in accordance with the provisions of the said Act and of the Rules and Orders made thereunder .

एस ० घो ० 770 ( श्र ) . यतः ,महाराष्ट्र राज्य के 20 रामटेक संसदीय निर्वाचन क्षेत्र से लोक मभा के लिए निर्वाचित सदस्य डा ० अमृतसोनार की मृत्यु हो जाने के कारण उस सदन में एक स्थान रिक्त हो गया है ;

अतः , अब , लोक प्रतिनिधित्व अधिनियम , 1951 ( 1951 का 43 ) की धारा 149 की उपधारा ( 1 ) के उपबन्धों के अनुसरण में निर्वाचन आयोग उक्त निर्वाचन क्षेत्र से एतद्वारा यह अपेक्षा करता है कि वह ऐसे हुई रिक्ति को भरने के लिए 19 जनवरी , 1974 से पूर्व , उक्त अधि- नियम के और तब्बीन बनाए गए नियमों और आदेशों के उपबन्धों के अनुसार एक व्यक्ति निर्वाचित कर दें ।

S.O. 771 ( E ) . In pursuance of the provisions of section 30 of the Representation of the People Act , 1951 ( 43 of 1951 ) , the Election Commission hereby appoints , with respect to the bye - election to be held in 20- Ramtek parllamentary constituency in the State of Maharashtra in pursuance of its notification No. 100 / MT - HP / 2 / 72 ( 1 ) dated 11 December , 1973 ,-
( a) 18 December , 1973 ( Tuesday ) as the last date for making nominations ;
(b) 19 December , 1973 ( Wednesday ) as the date for the scrutiny of nomi- nations;
( c) 21 December , 1973 ( Friday ) as the last date for the withdrawal of candi- datures;
(d) 13 January , 1974 ( Sunday ) as the date on which a poll shall , if necessary be taken; and
(e) 19 January, 1974 ( Saturday ) as the date before which the election shall be completed .

एस० ओ० 771 ( अ) लोक प्रतिनिधित्व अधिनियम, 1951 ( 1951 का 43 ) की धारा 30 के उपबन्धों के अनुसरण में , मिर्वाचन आयोग अपना अधिसूचना सं० 100/ महा०- लो० स ० / 2/ 72 ( 1 ) , तारीख 11 दिसम्बर , 1973 के अनुसरण में महाराष्ट्र राज्य में 20- रोमटेक संसदीय निर्वाचन क्षेत्र से होने वाले उप निर्वाचन के बारे में :--
18 दिसम्बर, 1973 ( मंगलवार ) (क ) नामनिर्देशन के लिए अन्तिम तारीख
19 दिसम्बर, 1973 ( बुधवार) (ख) नामनिर्देशनों की संवीक्षा की तारीख
21 दिसम्बर , 1973 ( शुक्रवार) ( ग ) अभ्यथिताएं वापस लेने की अन्तिम तारीख
13 जनवरी , 1974 ( रविवार) , तथा (घ ) वह तारीख जिसको यदि आवश्यक हो तो मतदान होगा
19 जनवरी ,
( ङ ) कह तारीख जिसके पूर्व निर्वाचन समाप्त कर दिया जाएगा ।

In pursuance of section 56 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951 ( 43 of 1951 ) , the Election Commission hereby fixes the hours from 8.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. as the hours during which a poll shall , if necessary , be taken for the bye election to the House of the People from 20 - Ramtek parliamentary constituency to be held in pursuance of its notification No. 100 / MT - HP /2 / 72 ( 1 ) , dated 11 December , 1973 .

एस ० प्रो० 772 ( प्र) लोक प्रतिनिधित्व अधिनियम, 1951 ( 1951 का 43 ) की धारा 56 के अनुसरण में , निर्वाचन आयोग अपनी अधिसूचना सं ० 100 /महा०-लो० स ०/ 2 / 72/ ( 1 ) , तारीख 11 दिसम्बर , 1973 के अनुसरण में , 20 रामटेक संसदीय निर्वाचन क्षेत्र से लोक सभा के लिए होने वाले उप निर्वाचन के लिए 8 बजे पूर्वाह्न से 5 बजे अपराह्न तक का समय उस समय के रूप में एतद्वारा नियत करता है, जिसके दौरान यदि आवश्यक हुआा तो, मतदान होगा ।
