New Delhi , the 11th December 1973
S.O. 773 ( E ) .- Whereas a vacancy has occurred in the seat allotted to 6 - Bombay Central parliamentary constituency of the House of the People in the State of Maharashtra by reason of Shri R. D. Bhandare , the member elected to the said House from the said constituency, having entered upon his office as Governor of Bihar with the consequent vacation by him of his seat in the said House in accord- ance with the provisions of clause ( 1 ) of Article 158 of the Constitution ;
Now, therefore , in pursuance of the provisions of sub - section ( 1 ) of section 149 of the Representation of the People Act , 1951 ( 43 of 1951 ) , the Election Com- mission hereby calls upon the said constituency to elect a person to fill the said vacancy before 19 January, 1974 in accordance with the provisions of the said Act and of the Rules and Orders made thereunder .

को आबंटित रथान में , उक्त निर्वाचन क्षेत्र से उक्त सदन के लिए निर्वाचित सदस्य श्री आर ० डी ० भंडारे द्वार
विहार के सज्यपाल के रूप में अपना पद ग्रहण कर लेने के कारण और संविधान के अनुच्छेद 158 के खंड

( 1 ) के उपबन्धों के अनुसार उक्त सदन में उनके द्वारा अपना स्थान रिक्त कर देने के परिणामस्वरूप , रिक्तिहो गई हैं ;
अत:, अब , लोक प्रतिनिधित्व , श्रधिनिवम , 1951 ( 1951 का 43 ) की धारा 149 की उपधगरा ( 1 ) के उपबंधों के अनुरण में, निर्वाचन आयोग उक्त निर्वाचन क्षेत्र से अपेक्षा करता है कि वे ऐसे हुई रिक्ति को भरने के लिए 19 जनवरी , 1974 से पूर्व , उक्त अधिनियम और उसके अधीन बनाए गए नियमों और श्रादेशों के उपबंधों के अनुसार एक व्यक्ति निर्वाचित कर दे ।

In pursuance of the provisions of section 30 of the Representation of the People Act , 1951 ( 43 of 1951 ) , the Election Commission hereby appoints , with respect to the bye election to be held in 6 -Bombay Central parliamentary constituency in the State of Maharashtra in pursuance of its notification No. 100 / MT - HP / 3 / 73 ( 1 ) dated 11 December , 1973 ,-
(a) 18 December , 1973 ( Tuesday) as the last date for making nominations ;
(b) 19 December , 1973 ( Wednesday) as the date for the scrutiny of nomi- nations;
( c) 21 December , 1973 ( Friday ) as the last date for the withdrawal of candi- datures;
(d) 13 January , 1974 ( Sunday ) as the date on which a poll shall , if neces- sary , be taken ; and
(e) 19 January , 1974 (Saturday ) as the date before which the election shall be completed .

के उपबंधों के अनुसरण में निर्वाचन श्रायोग अपनी अधिसूचना सं ० 100/महा ० लो० स ०/ 3/ 73 ( 1 ) , तारीख 11 दिसम्बर , 1973 के अनुसरण में महाराष्ट्र राज्य में के 6-मुम्बई मध्य संसदीय निर्वाचन क्षेत्र से हाने वाले उप - निर्वाचन के बारे में--
18 दिसम्बर, 1973 ( मंगलवार) (क) नामनिर्देशन करने के लिए अन्तिम तारीख
19 दिसम्बर , 1973 ( बुधवार) (ख) नामनिर्देशनों की संवीक्षा की तारीख
(ग ) अभ्यर्थिताएं वापस लेने की अन्तिम तारीख 21 दिसम्बर , 1973 ( शुक्रवार)
(घ ) वह तारीख जिसके यदि भावश्यक हो , तो मतदान होगा ;
13 जनवरी , 1974 ( रविवार); तथा
19 जनवरी , 1974 ( शनिवार) (ङ ० ) वह तारीख जिसके पूर्व निर्वाचन समाप्त कर दिया जाएगा एतद्वारा नियत करता है ।

In pursuance of section 56 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951 (43 of 1951 ) , the Election Commission hereby fixes the hours from 8.00 am . to 5.00 p.m. as the hours during which a poll shall, if necessary , be taken for the bye -election to the House of the People from 6 -Bombay Central parlia- mentary constituency to be held in pursuance of its notification No. 100 /MT - HP/ 3/73 ( 1 ) dated 11 December , 1973 .

एस ० श्रो ० 775 ( प्र) . लोक प्रतिनिधित्व अधिनियम , 1951 ( 1951 का 43 ) की धारा 56 के अनुसरण में निर्वाचन आयोग अपनी अधिसूचना सं ० 100/ महा ० /लो ० स ० / 3/ 73 ( 1 ) , तारीख 1 दिसम्बर , 1973 के अनुसरण में 6 मुम्बई मध्य संसदीय निर्वाचन क्षेत्र से लोक सभा के लिए होनें वाले उप-निर्वाचन के लिए 8-00 बजे पूर्वान्ह से 5-00 बजे अपरान्ह तक का समय उस समय के रूप में एतद्वारा नियत करता है । जिसके दौरान यदि श्रावश्यक हो तो, मतदान होगा ।
