NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 13th December 1973
G.S.R. 524(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of sec- tion 23 of the Prevention of Food Adulteration Act, 1954 (37 of 1954), the Central Government hereby directs that. in respect of the Prevention of Food Adulteration (Third Amendment) Rules, 1973, published with the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Health and Family Planning (Department of Health) No. G.S.R. 997 dated the 22nd August, 1973 in the Gazette of India. Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (1), dated the 15th September, 1973, the dates specified for the purpose of inviting objections or suggestions on the said draft rules shall be extended from the 22nd October, 1973 to the 31st December. 1973, and makes the following amendment in the notification aforesaid:—
In the first paragraph of the said notification for the words and figures "22nd October, 1973". the words and figures "31st December, 1873" shall be substituted.
