No. 602 / 2 / 70 - DBK, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary dated the 25th August ,August , 1971 ) the Central Government hereby makes the following amendment in the Table published in the Public Notice No.No. DRAWBACK /PN - 1 dated the 15th October , 1971 :--
I. For sub - clause ( f ) of clause (A) of sub - serial No. 2502 ard the entries relating thereto , the following shall be substituted , namely : --

5. For sub - items ( i ) , ( ii ) , ( iii ) 1 ( iii ) (3 ) , (iv)( iv) and (v)(v) of sub - item (d) of sub - clause (VI ) of clause A of sub - serial No. 2503 and the entries relating thereto , the following shall be substituted namely ;-
(i ) Worsted hand knitting grey yarn Rs . 2.09 (Rupees two and paise nine only) per kg.
(il) Worsted hand knitting processed and/ or dyed yarn .

6. For sub - items ( f ) and ( g) of item ( i) of clause ( C) of sub - scrial No. 2503 and the entries relaing thereto , the following shall be substituted , namely;
( f) Wool Content in worsted yarn of weaving quality
Rs . 26-20 ( Rupecs twenty six and paise twenty only) per kg .
Rs . 23.15 (Rupees twenty three and paise fifteen only) per kg .
(g) Wool Content in worsted yarn hcsiery quality and worsted hand knitting woollen yarn ( knitting wool )
No. 2503 and the entries relating thereto , 7. For sub - item ( ii) of clause ( C) of sub - serial the following shall be substituted namely;-
Rs . 21.25 ( Rupees twenty one and paise twenty five only) per kg .
( ii) Wool content in goods made out of all wool worsted hand knitting yarn of 21 BWS or less counts .

Provided that the drawback at the above rate in respect of wool content may be admissible only if the manufacturer exporter at the time of shipment declares and if necessary produces proof to the satisfaction of the Assistant Collector of Customs that the wool content in the export goods is imported duty paid wool and that the yarn isworsted .
8. For sub - item ( iii ) of cause ( C) of sub serial No. 2503 and the entries relating therete , the following shall be substituted , namely:-
( iii) Wool content in goods made out Rs . 5.60 ( Rupess five and paise sixty only) of all woollen worsted yarn ( excluding per kg . hand knitting yarn ) of 21 BWS of less
counts .
Provided that the drawback at the above rate in respect of wool content may be adımis- sible only if the manufacturer/ exporter at the time of shipment declares and if necessary producers proof to the satisfaction of the Assistant Collector that the wool content in the export goods is imported duty paid wool and that the yarn is worsted .
9. This Public Notice shall be deemed to have come into force on the Ist day of December , 1973 .

( क ) बटेंड हाथ की बुनाई के कोरे धागे की अंतर्वस्तु ।

(ख ) बस्टेंड हाथ की बुनाई के प्रक्रिया- गत तथा/ अथया रंजिन धागे अथवा रंजित ऊन से बुने धागे की अन्तर्वस्तु ।
( ग ) हाथ की बुनाई से भिन्न वटेंड धागे की अंतर्वस्तु
(i) 48 बी० डब्ल्यू०एम ० तथा उससे अधिक काउंट का ।
14.05 रु ० ( केवल चौदह रुपये पांच पस) प्रति किलोग्राम ।
( iii) 24 बी० डब्ल्य ० एस ० तथा उससे कम काउंट का ।
2.04 रु ० ( केवल दो रुपये चार पैसे) प्रति किलोग्राम ।
0.78 ६० (केवल अठहत्तर पैसे) प्रति किलोग्राम ।
( घ) ऊनी धागे की अंतर्वस्तु ( जिसमें 5 प्रतिशत से अधिक नई ऊन नहीं हो ) , मामान्यतः, ग्रेनरी अथवा स्प्डि ऊन से बने उर्णावशेष ( शाडी) अथवा ऊनी धागे के नाम से जाना जाता है ।

( ङ) ऊपर ( क ), ( ख ) , ( ग ) तथा ( घ ) के अन्तर्गत आने वाली मदों से भिन्न ऊनी धागे की अंतर्वस्तु ।
5. उपक्रमांक 2503 के खंड (क) के उपखंड ( vi ) की उपमद ( घ) की उपमद ( i ) ( ii) , ( iii ) , ( 1 ) , ( iii ) ( 3 ) , ( iv ) तथा ( v ) एवं तत्सम्बन्धी प्रविष्टियों के लिए निम्नलिखित प्रतिस्थापित किया जायगा , अर्थात्:--
( i) वस्टेंड, हाथ की बुनाई का फोग धागा ।
2.09 5० ( केवल दो रुपये नौ पैसे ) प्रति किलोग्राम ।
( ii ) वस्टेंड हाथ की बुनाई का प्रक्रिया गत / तथा / अथवा रंजित धागा ।
10.46 रु ० ( केवल दस रुपये छियालीस पैसे) प्रति किलोग्राम ।
( iii ) हाथ की बुनाई के धाग से भिन्न वस्टेंड धागा
14.125० ( केवल चौदह रुपये बारह पैसे) प्रति किलोग्राम ।

1.60 रु० ( केवल एक रुपया साठ पैसे ) प्रति किलोग्राम ।
( v) वडेंड धागे अथवा ऊर्णावशेष (शाडी) धागे में भिन्न धागा ।
6. उा-क्रम सं ० 2503 के खण्ड ( ग ) की उप -मद ( i ) की उप -मद ( च) तथा ( ज ) और उनमे मम्बन्धित प्रविष्टियों के लिए निम्नलिखित प्रतिस्थापित किया जायगा, अर्थात्:--
( च ) बुनाई ( वीविग ) किस्म के वस्टेंड धागे में ऊन अन्तवस्तु ।
26.20 रु ० (केवल छब्बीस रुपये बीस पैसे) प्रति किलो ग्राम ।
23.15 रु० ( केवल लेईम रुपये पन्द्रह पैसे) प्रति किलो ग्राम ।
( छ) होजरी तिम्म के बटेंड धागे तथा हाथ से बुनाई के वस्टेंड ऊनी ध. गे [बनाई ( निटिंग ) की ऊन ] में ऊन
अन्तर्वस्तु:
उप-मव ( ij ) तथा उससे सम्बन्धित प्रविष्टियों 7. उपक्रम सं ० 25.3 के खण्ड ( ग ) की के लिए निम्नलिखित प्रतिस्थापित किया जायगा, अर्थात:--
21.25 5० ( केवल इवकीस रुपये पच्चीस पैसे) प्रति किलोग्राम ।
( ii) 21 बी० डब्ल्यू० एस ० श्रथवा उससे कम काउन्ट के पूर्णतः ऊन मे बने हाथ से बुनाई के वस्टैंड धागे से बने माल में ऊन अन्तर्वस्तु:
बशर्ते कि ऊन अन्तर्वस्तु के बारे में प्रतिभ्रदायगी की उपर्युक्त दरें तभी लागू होगी यदि निर्माता /निर्यातकर्ता जहाज पर लदान के समय घोषणा करता है और यदि आवश्यक हो तो सीमा- शुल्क महायक -समाहर्ता की सन्तुष्टि के लिए यह सवृत प्रस्तुत करता है कि निर्यात किये जाने वाले माल में अन्तनिहित ऊन श्रायातित शुल्क अदा की गई ऊन है और यह कि धागा बरटेंड है ।
8. उप -क्रम सं ० 2503 के खण्ड ( मी ) के उप- मद ( iii ) तथा उसमे सम्बन्धित प्रविष्टियों के लिए निम्नलिखित प्रतिस्थापित किया जायगा, अर्थात्:--
5.60 रु ० ( केवल पांच रुपये साठ पैसे) प्रति किलोग्राम ।
( iii) 21 बी ० डब्ल्यू० एस ० अथवा उसमें कम काण्डट के पूर्णतः ऊन के वस्टैंड धागे ( हाथ से बुनाई के धागे को छोड़ कर ) से निर्मित माल में ऊन अन्तर्वग्नु:

बात कि ऊन अन्तर्वस्तु के बारे में प्रतिश्रदायगी की उपर्युक्त दो दरें तभी लागू होगी यदि निर्माता/ निर्यातकर्ता जहाज पर लदान के समय घोषणा करता हैऔर यदि आवश्यक होतो सहायक- समाहर्ता की सन्तुष्टि के लिए यह सबूत प्रस्तुत करता है कि निर्यात किये जाने वाले माल में अन्त- निहित ऊन श्रायानित शुल्क अदा की गई ऊन है और यह कि धागा स्टेंड है ।
9. यह मार्वजनिक सूचना तारीख 1 दिसम्बर, 1973 से प्रभावी मानी जायगी ।

Provided that drawback specified at B ( ii ) above will be applicable only when the exporter produces evidence to the satisfaction of the Assistant Collector of Customs that the Central Excise duty of paise 87.5 (Eighty seven point five paise only) per kg . leviable on copper strips produced from copper in crude form has been paid and that no rebate under central Excise Rules , 1944 has been or will be obtained by the exporter from the Central Excise authorities .
The above rates of drawback will be appliaable till 31-12-1973 .

(ii) 24 गेज तथा 35 गेज तक पतला 6.99 रु ० ( केवल छः रुपये और निन्यानवे पैसे ) प्रति किलोग्राम ।
( iii ) 36 गेज तथा 44 गेज तक पतला 6.92 रु ० ( केवल छः रुपये और बयानवे पैसे) प्रति किलोग्राम ।

( ख ) 23 गेज की तथा उससे मोटी कागज से ढकी हुई तांबे की पत्तियां ।
( ⅰ) 7.05 रु० ( केवल सात रुपये पांच पैसे) प्रति किलोग्राम तथा
( ii) तांबा पत्ती अन्तर्वस्तु का 87.5 पैसे ( केवल सतासी दशमलब पांच पैसे) प्रति किलोग्राम ।
परन्तु, ऊपर ( ख) ( ii ) में उल्लिखित प्रतिश्रदायगी तब लागू होगी जब निर्यातकर्ता, सहायक समाहर्ता सीमाशुल्क के समाधान प्रद रूप से यह माध्य प्रस्तुत करे कि क्रूड तांबे से बनी तांबे की पत्तियों पर लगने योग्य 87.5 पैसे ( केवल सतासी दशमलब पांच पैसे ) प्रति किलोग्राम केन्द्रीय उत्पादन शुल्क अदा किया गया है और केन्द्रीय उत्पादन शुल्क नियमावली 1944 के अन्तर्गत निर्यात कर्ता द्वारा केन्द्रीय उत्पादनशुल्क अधिकारियों से कोई छूट नहीं प्राप्त की है अथवा न ही प्राप्त की जायगी ।
श्रतिश्रदायगी की उक्त दरें 31-12-1973 तक यागू रहेंगी ।
