SUBJECT. Import Policy for the year April 1973-March 1974 .
No. 225 - ITC ( PN ) /73.-Attention of importers is invited to import policy as contained in the Import Trade Control Policy (Red Book- Vol . I ) for the period April 1973 -March 1974.
2. The following amendments shall be made at appropriate places in the Import Trade Control Policy (Red Book-Vol . I ) for the period April 1973 - March 1974 :-

विषयः-अप्रैल , 1973 मार्च , 1974 वर्ष के लिए श्रायात नीति ।
1973- सं ० 225 / प्राई ० टी ० सी ० पी ० एन ० )/.73.-आयातकों का ध्यान अप्रैल, मार्च , 1974 अवधि के लिए आयात व्यापार नियंत्रण नीति रेड बुक वा ० 1 में यथा निहित आयात मीति की ओर श्राकृष्ट किया जाता है ।
2. निम्नलिखित संशोधन अप्रैल , 1973 मार्च , 1974 प्रवधि के लिए आयात व्यापार नियंत्रण नीति ( रेड बुक-वा- 1 ) में उपयुक्त स्थानों पर किए जाएंगे:-

1. वर्तमान टिप्पणी ( 1 ) निम्नलिखित टिप्पणी द्वारा प्रतिस्थापित की गई समझी जाए:-

2. It has been decided to make the following changes in the list of industries given in Appendix 71 of the Import Trade Control Policy (Red Book -Vol.I ) for the period April , 1973-March , 1974 :-
(i) The following industries may be deemed to have been inserted as S. Nos . 12 and 13 :-
" 12. Fire works .
13. Formulated perfumery compounds . " ( ii ) The undermentioned industrics may be deemed to have been deleted :-
"46. Steel Furniture .
49. Aluminium Utensils .
48. Mechanical Toys .
50. Fountain Pens and Ball Point Pens . "
(iii) The following industry may be deemed to have been inserted below the industry 'Domestic Utensils ( other than stainless steel)' :-
"Steel Measuring tape ." (iv) The existing S. Nos . of the industries may be renumbered accordingly .

सं ० 226/ आई ० टी ० सी ० पी० एन ० ) /73.-अप्रल, 1973-मार्च, 1974 अवधि के लिए आयात व्यापार नियंत्रण नीति ( रेड बुक-वा०-1 ) के परिशिष्ट 71 की ओर ध्यान आकृष्ट किया जाता है जिस में अप्रैल , 1973 - मार्च , 1974 अवधि के लिए आयात व्यापार नियंत्रण नीति ( रेड बैंक वा०--1 ) के खंड 1 की कुंडिका 39 ( बी ) तथा परिशिष्ट 65 में संदिभूत उद्योगों की एक सूची है ।
2. यह निश्चय किया गया है कि अप्रैल के 1973 मार्च , 1974 अवधि के लिए आयात व्यापार नियंत्रण नीति ( रेड बुक- वा०-1 ) के परिशिष्ट 71 में दिए गए उद्योगों की सूची में निम्नलिखित संशोधन किए जाएं :-
( 1) निम्नलिखित उद्योगों की क्रम संख्या 12 तथा 13 के रूप में शामिल किया गया समझा जाए
" 12. प्रातिशबाजी
13. सूत्रित सुगंध मिश्रण"
( 2 ) नीचे दिए गए उद्योग हटाए गए समझे जाएं :---
" 46 इस्पात फर्निचर
48 तकनीकी खिलौने
49 ऐल्युमीनियम के बरतन
50 फाउण्टेनपेन तथा बाल प्वाइंट पेन"
( 3 ) निम्नलिखित उदयोग को " घरेलू बरतन ( जंगरो स्पात से भिन्न ) " उद्योग के अन्तर्गत शामिल किया गया समझा जाए :--
" इस्पात के मापन टेप"
( 4 ) तदनुसार उद्योगों की वर्तमान क्रम संख्याओं को पुनः सांख्यांकित किया जाए ।
