NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 20th December 1973
S.O. 786 (E).—Whereas notice of the intention of the Central Government to amend, with effect from the 24th day of December 1973, Form A "FORM OF BALANCE-SHEET" set out in the Third Schedule to the Banking Regulation Act 1949 (10 of 1949), was published as required by sub-section (4) of section 29 of the said Act at page 1703 of the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II Section 3 Sub-section (ii), dated the 19th September, 1973, under the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Banking) No. S.O. 506(E), dated the 18th September, 1973;
Now, therefore in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (4) of Section 29 of the said Act, the Central Government hereby makes the following amendment to Form A .set out in the Third Schedule to the said Act, namely;—
In the said Form A, under the column relating to "CAPITAL AND LIABILI- TIES", for item 3 "Deposits and other Accounts" and the entries occurring there- under, the following shall be substituted, namely:— "Deposits and other Accounts;
Fixed Deposits
(i) from bunks (ii) from others
Savings Bank Deposits Current Accounts and Contingency (i) from banks
