G.S.R. 538 ( E ) . The following Order made by the President on 12th December , 1973 , is published for general information : -
THE GOVERNOR OF THE STATES OF ASSAM , MANIPUR , MEGHALAYA , NAGALAND AND TRIPURA ( ALLOCATION OF EMOLUMENT AND ALLOWANCES ) ORDER , 1973
In pursuance of clause (3A ) of article 158 of the Constitution , I. V. V. Giri , President of India , hereby make the following Order , namely :---
1. ( 1 ) This Order may be called the Governor of the States of Assam , Manipur , Meghalaya , Nagaland and Tripura ( Allocation of Emoluments and Allowances ) Order, 1973 . ( 2) I shall be deemed to have come into force on the 21st day of January , 1972 .
2. In this Order , " Governor " means the person appointed as Governor of each of the States of Assam , Manipur , Meghalaya , Nagaland and Tripura .
3. ( 1 ) The emoluments of , and the following allowances payable to , the Governor shall be allocated between the States of Assam , Manipur , Meghalaya . Nagaland and Tripura in the proportion of 52 : 15 : 15 : 11 : 7 :--
( a ) equipment allowance payable under clause ( 2 ) of paragraph 4 of the Government of India ( Governors ' Allowances and Privileges ) Order . 1950; and
(1817) 1818

( b) leave allowance payable to the Governor under paragraph 8 of that Order .
( 2 ) All other allowances payable to the Governor-
( 1 ) under the Government of India ( Governors ' Allowances and Privileges ) Order , 1950 , shall be allocated between the States of Assam , Meghalaya and Nagaland in the proportion of 29 : 8 : 1;
( ii ) under the Governors of the States of Manipur and Tripura ( Allowances and Privileges ) Order , 1972 , shall be allocated to the State of Manipur or , as the case may be ,to the State of Tripura , in so far as they relate to the State of Manipur or , as the case may be , to the State of Tripura .
( 3 ) The expenditure which may be incurred on pay , allowances and pensionary charges of a common Military Secretary or Aide -de - camp to the Governor shall also be allocated between the same States and in the same proportion as specified in clause ( 1) .
4. The Governor of the States of Assam and Nagaland (Allocation of Emoluments and Allowances ) Order , 1967 , Is hereby repealed .

सा० का० नि० 538 (प्र) - 12 दिसम्बर , 1973 को राष्ट्रपति द्वारा किया गया निम्न लिखित आदेश सामान्य सूचना के लिये प्रकाशित किया जाता हैः-
असम , मणिपुर, नागालॅण्ड और त्रिपुरा राज्यों का राज्यपाल ( उपलविषयों और भत्तों का आवंटन ) आदेश, 1973
मैं , व ० ३ ० गिरि , भारत का राष्ट्रपति, संविधान के अनुच्छेद 158 के खण्ड ( क ) के अनुसरण मे, निम्नलिखित आदेश करता हू , श्रर्थात्ः-
1. ( 1 ) इस आदेश का नाम असम, मणिपुर , मेघालय , नागालैंड और त्रिपुरा राज्यो का राज्य - *पाल ( उपलब्धियों और भत्तों का आवंटन ) श्रादेश, 1973 है ।
( 2 ) यह आदेश 21 जनवरी, 1972 से प्रवृत्त हुआा समझा जाएगा ।
2. इम आदेश में , ' राज्यपाल' में असम , र्माणपुर, मेघालय , नागालैंड और त्रिपुरा राज्योंमें से प्रत्येक के लिये राज्यपाल नियुक्त किया गया व्यक्ति अभिप्रेत है ।
3. ( 1 ) राज्यपाल की उपलब्धियां , और उसको देय निम्नलिखित भत्ते , असम, मणिपुर, नागालैंड और त्रिपुरा राज्यों के बीच 52: 15: 15: 11: 7 के अनुपात में आबंटित किये जाऐगे:-
(क) भारत सरकार ( राज्यपालों के भत्ते और विशेषाधिकार ) आदेण , 1950 के पैरा 4 के खण्ड ( 2 ) के अधीन देय उपस्कर भत्ता और
(ख) उस आदेश के पैरा 8 के अधीन राज्यपाल को देय छुट्टी भत्ता ।

( 2 ) अन्य सभी भत्ते , जो राज्यपाल को, -
( i) भारत सरकार ( राज्यपालों के भत्ते और विशेषाधिकार ) आदेश , 1950 के अधीन देय हैं , असम, मेघालय और नागालैंड राज्यों के बीच 29 : 8: 1 के अनुपात में आवं- टित किये जाऐंगे ;
( ii ) मणिपुरश्रौरविपुरा राज्यों के राज्यपाल ( भत्ते और विशेषाधिकार ) आदेश , 1972 के अधीन देय हैं , यथास्थिति, मणिपुर राज्य या त्रिपुरा राज्य को वहां तक आवंटित किये जाऐंग जहां तक कि ये , यथास्थिति, मणिपुर राज्य यात्रिपुग राज्य से संबंध रखते हैं ।
( 3 ) ऐसा व्यय , जो राज्यपाल के सामान्य सैनिक मचिव याए डीसी के वेतन, भत्तों श्रीर पेंशन- संबंधी प्रभारों पर उपगत किया जाए , उन्हीं राज्यों के बीच और उसी अनुपात में जैसा कि खण्ड ( 1 ) मे विनिर्दिष्ट है, आवंटित किया जाएगा ।
( 4 ) असम और नागालैंड राज्यों का राज्यपाल ( उपलब्धियों और भत्तों का आवंटन ) आदेश 1967 निरसित किया जाता है ।
